Yep. Week 2, after they played VT.

Your defense will have to make a total transformation to stay in this game.

Chavis will have to call some blitzs for a change and run some stunts with the DEs on obvious passing situations. Staying pat and rushing 4 straight up will not get the job done.

Afraid you are right in that respect. Vanilla predictable defense won't get it done. Bama will run the ball down our throat and AJ will occassionly burn us with the deep pass after establishing the run. Pretty much same scenario LSU tries to establish with more or less success in the past. Neither Mett nor AJ perform well under strong pressure, neither are Johnny Foosball and turn a near sac into ten yard run. AJ is more capable of taking off and running than Mett who with his leg issue and brace is just a straight up pocket passer. Give Mett time and he can burn you with his arm. Rush him and he will stare down the reciver and through interceptions into double coverage. Mett got to find the open tight end or RB out of backfield, or third receiver who is open cause of double coverage. Takes time for that progression. Story of the game is which OL hold up best.

Sounds to me like you're just mad that you don't have any football to watch this weekend.

It is but a mystery, LSU was the best prepared team last year, played better for 58 minutes.

We trailed 14-3 at half. We got the lead with 13 mins left in the 4th. We had a nice 4th quarter, but this dominated for 58 mins stuff is crap.

Teams like Bama and LSU intentionally schedule their bye weeks before their most important games traditionally. But yea you go on thinking this puts us at a disadvantage while the guys making millions believe the opposite. Dumb frick.

It ain't gonna matter, we don't start playing until the second half. By then we'll be down 28 points. Reality, sorry!

Actually we/Bama was winning at halftime 14-3 so you only outplayed us for most of the 2nd half.
Amazing how many tigers fans forget this.

I for one wish we didn't have the bye week before Bama. I am concerned about Saban having a lot of time to plan and get them ready. It has never bode well for us or anyone else.

I for one hate bye weeks. But in this case, it could NOT have come a better time for LSU. 9 straights weeks...............This team needs a break. I don't care what Saban does for his two weeks. LSU is going in FRESH and ready for a Bama beatdown. SERIOUS.LSU wins this game.

Then you should have no concerns. If off does not bode well for anyone, it should not be a benefactor for Nick.

Les is 2-1 against Bama with a bye the week before. Could've/should've been 3-0
