Looks like I got paid!!!!! Deer stand rip off from 2014.

Guys I wanted to let you all know that I had $759.00 stolen from me by Micheal Lane Hayes the owner of ezown carports. He has a listing on several Louisiana hunting forums for deer stands and I don't want anybody else to be taken by this crook.

It's a company called ezowncarports and I got his ad off of another Louisiana hunting forum. Anyway I pm the guy, his name is Mike Hayes and I start the process of ordering two stands. Well I first call and a guy named Lane answers and says he's the sales rep for he company. We work out an order and I tell him what I want and we talk about payment. He mentioned something about a money order due to him doing so much volume that the credit card company was charging extra for anything he charged. At this point I became a little skeptical so I asked to talk to the owner Mike Hayes. Mike and I talk and he convinces me that he's a good guy blah blah blah, we even talked about TBH and hunting. Right off the bat I thought that Mike and Lane sounded just alike on the phone. After running around for a day trying to find a western union that knew how to send the payment I finally got it sent. Now up until he got my money Mike answered the phone or called me back with 5 minutes of me calling every time. Now this happened around the 26th of August and I asked for the stands to be ready by September the 18th. I knew this was a quIck turnaround and he even said he couldn't promise a delivery by that time and I said I understood and for him to do his best. I called 3 weeks later to check on the stands and it went a couple of days before I heard back from him. Finally at 6:00 pm on the 17th Mike calls me and says I apologize but the stands won't be ready because the metal guy sent red metal instead of camo. He apologized for over 20 minutes and offered a discount of $150.00. I told him it was okay and reminded him that he said he couldn't guarantee the stands due to the 3 week time frame. Well he said they would be ready for sure by that Friday. So I called Friday and the communication started to get bad. I did get a hold of someone and I was told they would be ready the following Friday this went on until Friday October the 18th. The number I had been texting and talking to Mike on the past month had now become his son Layton's phone and I was role to contact the office. I contacted the office and Lane called me back and I got a little upset with him about them jerking me around. At this point he got upset and and we exchanged a few words and I said I want the stands or my money back ASAP. Well a couple hrs later my phone rings and Lane says he wanted to apologize for the argument that I had with a worker named George!!!!!!! He called me and me and him got into it but he called back and acted like it someone named George.

After he called me back, he said they would be ready Friday and that he apologized and Mike had been in a bad accident and fractured his neck. So I call Friday and he confirms that they are ready for pickup. After changing the pickup day we decided that Monday would be better for both parties. I live in Baton Rouge and my Dad lives in Beaumont, the stands are at Toldeo bend in Many LA. My dad drives 3 hrs to pick up the stands and when he gets there they are not ready. Not ready as in the ladders are not built, the windows and not in them, the 8 foot bases aren't built, the padded shooting rails and the insulation are not on them. So basically this guy lied to me and said they were ready. After this he apologized again and we agreed that it would be best if we parted ways and he refunded my $759.00 deposit. So he writes a check and I deposited it on Saturday. I check my account today and the check is either NSF or it has been canceled:mad:

So what are my next options at this point? I have phone number and addresses for this guy and want to make sure the hunting community knows not to do business with this guy. FYI they also build car ports and camps.
