The Mist.
Maybe not the "greatest ending ever" but definetly the most "what the frick just happened" endings in my opinion. Especially if you have kids.
I was frozen on the couch for at least 15 minutes just dumbfounded.

Gonna have to go with the theme of the season right now and since its Halloween I'll say... Saw! Solid ending for a (at the time) unheard of cheap independent film.
Also good endings besides Saw...

The Mist was definitely one of my biggest wtf moments ever. I know many people hated the ending but I loved it.

That was like a dress rehearsal for the Walking Dead. Especially since Thomas Jane was the first choice for Rick Grimes.

Forrest Gump ended perfectly. The opening and closing to that movie are perfect bookends.
