The Levon Helm documentary "Ain't in it for My Health" is on Netflix, FYI.

I was supposed to see him at JazzFest a few days before he died. It was heartbreaking to miss that show and lose a legend.

And if you haven't heard Levon's solo stuff, check it out on Spotify. Those albums (Dirt Farmer, Electric Dirt) are awesome.

I was beyond excited to see Levon play at Jazzfest. Very sad he passed. However, Warren Haynes was a nice replacement and he honored him well that set

I watched this for the first time a few days ago, it made me sad.

Just found this documentary last night. It's a little sad to see that guy in the state he was in before he died but he always had a fun attitude. I never really got the back story as to why The Band broke up and it looks like there was still a lot of animosity between Helm and Robertson after all those years.


And, my God, Levon smoked a lot of weed.
