Agreed, LES'S Statue should be the main topic at in the AD office. We have a chance to move out of the dark ages and join great programs like BAMA, etc... LES'S is the best coach in LSU history we need his statue in front if Tiger stadium for the world to see.

Congrats, you just reminded the board that Miles is 57-17 with a chicken bowl and cotton bowl win since his recruits took over.

Oh and btw, what was Saban's record at LSU???

Do me a favor and post that side by side with what you claim to be Miles' TRUE record with HIS recruits, and explain to me how exactly Miles has destroyed the machine that Saban built.

Thanks in advance

We have 3 postseason trophies in the last 6 seasons:

1 Chick-Fil-A (2008)

1 Cotton Bowl (2010)

1 SEC Title (2011)

Who gives a crap how many regular season wins we get when this is all we have to show for it?

Spurrier would win 10 games a year with this talent as would a number of other coaches.

Weird...didn't he just lose to Tennessee? And even failed to win the Sec when his defense was stacked and had Jeffrey and Lattimore on offense.

herp derp. Saban BUILT LSU.

A fairer comparison would be Saban's record at LSU versus Miles' record at OSU since they both were being built up at the same time.

But I'm sure you're scared to do that.

I swear you idiots know nothing about cfb. It's common knowledge that maintaining a powerhouse is harder than building one. What harder to do? Have 3 good recurring classes or have 8 good recruiting classes. What's harder to do? Have 3 10 win seasons or have 7 10 wins seasons?

No they aren't. The bama stat they used on Espn was ranking when they played them. I used end of the season rankings.

In 2011 bama beat all of 2 ranked teams in the regular season.
In 2012 bama beat all of 1 ranked teams in the regular season.

I've never been one to scream "fire Miles!" after a loss, but I'm sick and freaking tired of seeing the record of his tenure posted and the argument of "name someone who could step in place of Miles and do the same as head coach."

Because that record(which truthfully isn't all that great for a supposed elite school" isn't all because of Miles. Alot and I mean alot of coaches could be in his place over the same time and have the same or better record. We're freaking LSU. Because of our talent level alone 8 wins a year is guaranteed.

Is he a bad coach? I don't think so. But I'm not buying this argument that there isn't anyone else out there that could've done the same or better than what he's done at LSU.

Any coach in in cfb falls short in comparison to Saban. Good god you posters are fricking dumb. Name any cfb coach and he is worse than Saban.

What are you laughing at? It's true. After last year's bcs title game , Saban and Meyer both said the same thing. Sorry you don't know this.

They beat another ranked team in the postseason that year pretty badly...having trouble placing it though...can you help me out? Thanks.

No doubt his record is stellar. We just mad bc Bama is owning.

I feel like LSU is now about on the level of UGA. Lots of wins but no hardware and usually a 2-4 loss season.

What is the ONE thing both those coaches have in common: MULTIPLE TITLES.

Les hasn't done this. So I guess you are admitting Les has been a failure since 2007. Thanks.
