I urge all of you who are having a hard time with this to look at Miles' record. He's the best we've ever had. The reason we've had such a run. Teams are gonna' lose some games that they shouldn't. It's college football.
I'll stick with Miles. He has delivered an approx 80-81% win record. 4 ten win seasons-never been done before. He's 21-1 after a loss.

He's got 10 win seasons like others because he's been damn, damn lucky (Tennessee in 2010) and we play 13-14 (including bowls) games a year now unlike the past where there were 11-12. We also are now settling for loading up with 3 weak non-conference games like Furman next week and one strong non-conference game that is being played at fricking neutral sites.
Yesterday, Ole Miss had 5 starters on their defense out. They were decimated with injuries yet Miles managed to have us go into the locker room at halftime down 17-0.
The fact that it is a rivalry game means the team should be up for the game. He has always overlooked the fact that this game is the game for Ole Miss and that trickles down to the players that were flat yesterday.
The 3 interceptions yesterday reminded me of the Hallman game against Auburn in 1994. Quarterbacks have off days and they shouldn't throw into that type of coverage on those days. That doesn't look like it was relayed to Zach yesterday.

Yup. This about sums it up for me. I even said that if Miles won the NC two years ago I would admit I was wrong about Miles. But not only did that not happen but that game reinforced all of my previously held beliefs about Miles. We will never win another NC with Miles at the helm (and 2007 was pure stupid dumb luck). I hope everyone is happy with winning 9 or 10 games a year because that is what we can expect from here on out. Geaux Tigers!

Not sure if I'm in or not...not so much because of the game last night, but I just like a change every once in a while. I think we should keep him until 2015 then go searching...10 yrs is enough for any coach IMO. FTR I like Les and he has been great for our program

You're replying to someone who is chock full of the kool-aid.

I'm sick of the sub-par coaching, simple as that.

Miles is our present day Cholly Mac. Good family man. Hardnosed stubborn who will always be a run first pass on 3rd down coach who will only win 77% of his games and will never bring us to another championship

les has ten win seasons because of how the schedule changed. people are blind if they think ten wins of today is the same as ten wins in the 80s

It's true. LSU pays for 4 wins a year, plays 2 bottom feeder SEC teams, and then goes 2-2 or 1-3 against the 4 competitive teams they play every year.

No concern. Miles will find a way to lose at least one game each year. Every year Miles has coached at LSU, he has cost us at least one game. LSU had one of the best teams in the history of NCAA football in 2011 and Miles found a way to completely blow the NC game to the extent that we did NOT cross the 50 yard line until late in the game.

is South Carolina of spurrier bandwagon. what about Georgia what about Florida

The bloom is definitely off the rose at UGA and UF. Even with injuries, the Gator fans around here are furious. Throw in the second coming of FSU and they are ready to run Muschamp.

Also, isn't Richt on the hot seat every other year?
