He is bringing the same old defensive plan to every game and does not even try to adjust at halftime. Do the opposing offenses target our mlb?

Chavis is not that good of a mid-game adjuster. He's just not.

if you didn't know that in 2001 when had no answer for Matt Mauck, then you should by now.

Every once in awhile, he makes a good adjustment, but then you wonder why he didn't do it to start the game with? Case in point, A&M game last year. We saw Florida adjust to Johnny Football and shut him down in the second half, but decided to still start the game with 4 DL and get blown up for it. We then switched to 3 and copied Floria and did much better.

He thinks his way will work, and that only small tinkerings are needed.

Chavis is only great when he has great players. Fact.

Lazy yes. He plays the odds and that is why he got the reputation of third and chavis.

The most painful to watch was the inability to make an adjustment to the inside read option, which burned us all night. Our ends ran upfield, out of the play, so often all you could do was laugh.

he's been taking pretty much the same schematic approach for the last 20 odd years. add poor personnell to that and you get what we've got. we aren't fooling anyone.

He's also getting fat and plays too soft on 3rd downs.
