A question about CBS.

Whether or not I'll sound stupid , I couldn't care less but my question is why do the announcers collect so much hate from the rant? Or anywhere else for that matter. Maybe I haven't paid much attention to them but are there maybe certain comments they've made or what?

Verne is a goof. He just babbles. He talks so there's no dead "air" even if it makes absolutely no sense.
Danielson, on the other hand, knows what he's talking about. He calls it like he sees it.

I personally dismiss any of his opinions due to the fact that he is so arrogant that he REFUSES to refer to us as LSU (after being asked numerous times to please stop calling us "Louisiana State")

Verne is getting old so he makes a few mistakes...Danielson is great. They are fair, complimentary and show teams the proper respect.
The bitterness around the Louisiana state vs LSU thing is especially stupid....who has repeatedly told him not to use our full name? Why would the administration even care one way or another?

They are irritating both of them , neither is the best at anything their bias toward everyone we play is just disgusting to hear. I leave the volume up but block them out most of the time. Example of them calling the game....

Also, I'll requote myself from a previous thread:

I like the Verne and Gary combo, although Verne is making more and more mistakes. That said, I think it's the best crew and production out there. Gary is spot-on when talking x's and o's.
The production crew and cameras are great. The ABC and ESPN crews will occasionally miss penalties and fail to show replays of key plays and/or penalties. CBS is always right there with a replay, and Danielson is right there with an analysis. He criticizes and praises as necessary.

Verne is a total RETARD! Half the time he doesn't even know who is playing. Danielson calls it like he sees it.
