Alabama 2008-present, greatest run in CFB history no DOUBT?

Is this unanimously agreed upon that we are in the middle of the greatest dynasty in the history of college football?
a heisman winner, 4-1 in bowl games. a ridiculous 68-7 record the last 5 years. 3 national titles. 2 SEC titles.
Absurd

Probably.
Saban is easily the GOAT.
They are lucky to get him. Pretty much any other top school wouldve had the same success.

Id say our era has to start with the 12-2 season in Nick Saban's second year.
Ended with disappointing b2b losses to Utah and Florida but that definitely was the year with JPW that showcased to the nation Alabama's future juggernaut status.

The Florida loss wasnt disappointing. They were the better team. The Utah loss was disappointing. Thats the last time I have seen an unmotivated Bama team though.

Assuming (and by no means am I saying it'll happen)...
if Bama goes 14-0 this year:
we have a... 76-7 record over past 6 years
4 national titles, 3 SEC titles, 6 straight 10+ win seasons, 5-1 in bowl games, a heisman winner.
that is just insane.
but even if they lost to Oregon in the title game,75-8 with 3 national titles/2 SEC titles in 6 years? not too shabby.

Is say it is but no way it is unanimous.
Probably some old school ND, Nebraska or even old timer Bama fans that would point to some other era.

We would have 3 SEC titles if we lose to Oregon

One more thing.
the 2011 Tide arguably had the best defense in the history of college football. SO along with those accolades you have a historic level of performance thrown in there as well.

I guess them not winning the SECCG in '11 kind of tarnishes it a bit for some people and that's why it isn't talked about like those Oklahoma teams in the 70s or Nebraska in the 90s.

Unanimously agreed upon? No.
One of the best dynasties of all time? Yes, and it's not over yet.
50s Oklahoma was legendary, more recently 2000s USC was pretty great.

The only one that I think could rival them would be Nebraska 1994-2001. Alabama still has a few more years with the period I set for Nebraska. That's insane to think about.
Played in 4 National Championships, won 3.
One Heisman winner
2 Big 12 Championships
6-2 Bowl record

Not even the best that season.

I have lotta respect for what USC did from 2002-2008 but it can't compare to what Alabama's doing right now.

Yea that 1995 Nebraska team was probably the most dominant ever. We also can't forget the U in the 80s here.
