The most impressive thing about the Grove was that the next morning at 9 am, the place was immaculate. I couldn't see a piece of paper or a cig butt near there. Looked like nothing at all had taken place. All was quiet and all was clean.

I guess when you don't have beer cans in trash bags for the homeless to rustle through, it's a lot easier to keep things clean...

comparing ole miss to lsu is like comparing bologna sandwich to a oyster poboy. both are good but one is so very much better

u can also leave your wide screen tv at your tent and it'll be there after the game. of course, most preppies leave at halftime

I'm sure they feel the same way. Aren't you being just a little bit biased?

I enjoy both, and don't find them very comparable other than they take place before SEC football games. It's a nice change of pace from what we normally do.

The Grove is overrated. The stadium is underrated — unglamorous by SEC standards but there's not a bad seat in the joint.

Not to beat a dead horse, but what is the strategy for drinking on campus???

A. Have a sealed cooler with beer and only open to retrieve a beer which you then need to pour in a cup immediately?

or

B. Carry around a bottle of liquor and take pulls?

I'm taking an RV and staying in the whirlpool lot, which means we will plan to walk to the grove on Saturday morning and plan on drinking till gametime. WTF do I do?

two incredibly different cultures...

ole miss is all about faulkner and tweedy/preppy types...and will be dealing with the fallout from james meridith for the next 50 years...

lsu is a lot more rough and tumble, a school with a signinficant military tradition where a lot of first generation college graduates got their educations...

I had a great time when I went in 03, but things went south quick after the game. I have never seen such a pissed off group after a loss. I understand that they probably realized that was their last shot a being good for a while, but it was ugly.

We are bringing a chandelier with us and going to hang corn dogs on it.
