Have any of you seen mainstream media questioning the officiating of the game yet? I haven't, all I've seen so far is just a bunch of stroking Brady's ego. I guess it's just like the TV announcers, if they try and raise the red flag they'll conveniently get shown the door.
It's a conspiracy Man!

Lol. It's been the top story on ESPN this morning.

Triplett writes about it here:
"Missed call? I got a lot of fan feedback about a missed holding call against Patriots offensive tackle Nate Solder on Brady’s touchdown pass. I saw several tweets of the still picture of Solder hooking Saints pass rusher Junior Galette that looked pretty egregious. The full-speed TV replay didn’t look quite as bad, though. The hook was brief, and Brady got rid of the ball quickly. It’s possible Galette wouldn’t have hit him in time, regardless. ... I wouldn’t have been surprised to see a holding call there, but I also wasn’t shocked to see the no-call. I’ll have to ask around after the Saints watch the film to see what they think. I know Galette didn’t mention it postgame, though, saying, “They just finished, and we didn’t. ... The end result was we didn’t finish, and we’re in the business of winning.”

Have not watched ESPN this morning but there is nothing online.

The only controversy ESPN is talking about is Gronk not playing.

The only storyline taken from this game will be that there was an epic battle between Brees and Brady in which Brady pulled out at the last second and that our defense sucks again.
There won't be any mention of the officiating, how Brees and the entire offense was off, how the playcalling was horrendous, and how the defense held Brady and co. to 3 points in the second half until that last second TD.

Complaining about officiating has to be the lamest thing a sports fan can do.
There's 32 NFL teams who have this subsection of fans who ALL think they got the raw end of the deal on calls either every game, some games, or just whenever.
It all evens out if you really look at it unbiasedly. There's no real reason to believe that your favorite team just so happens to always get hosed by the refs.

shel, really, it all evens out? If we gain a game due to an equally amount of blown favorable calls for us I'll agree.

So explain Brees not being given the time out AND the delay of game not being called that directly led to three points (margin of victory BTW). There is literally zero excuse for something like that to happen. How is that not reviewable?

No. Its what passionate fan bases do for their team when it effects the outcome of the game. The phantom false start, bounce pass called a completion, and choke hold on the game deciding TD all merit complaining. So shut the frick up.

Not even close. I was just fricking with anybody dumb enough to believe that bias officiating against the Saints would ever be a top story on ESPNFL network.
Looks like I go a few bites.

you really think ESPN gives a shite about the Saints? You can read their tweets during the game and see who they are rooting for.

It would be if the Cowboys or Jets were fricked.

go frick yourself.
We got screwed in the game, plain and simple. Blind if you don't see that
Have you ever seen the official miss a QB calling timeout? How about the false start/offsides play BS?

It's funny that the Patriots fans are calling us whiners and telling us to get over it.
Their entire dynasty was built on a technicality.

If we don't get a game back this season, we'll either get a game back another season or we've already gotten a game back in the past.

I was just sugarcoating it the first go round.
WAH, IT'S ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT. WOE IS ME!!!
It's about the least manliest thing a sports fan can do.
