Nobody would have predicted it in preseason.
And who would think that we would go down to the wire against NE with Drew having a sub .500% passing game??
Tough games remaining but we are well on the road to winning our division.

The division hasn't been in question since week 4.

I'm disappointed, but I'm proud.

This loss hurts bad, but when I had looked at our schedule I thought splitting the Chicago and New England games would be good for our team.

We should just tank the season like the falcons and get the best corner in the draft hahahaha jk go saints pats clearly had the refs in there pocket

Theres no question Im proud but we got fricked today! Refs fricked us all day long! They let Jimmy Graham take it dry with splinters no lube. Ill take it though at 5-1 but that game was ours ....

Much better than last season's 1-5

Honestly this is probably the least important game we can lose: A road game against an AFC team
And with how bad ATL this year a loss here and there isnt as world ending as we thought prior to the start of the season

I never believe in moral victories at all, especially the way we lost at the end. However were still 5-1 with a loss on the final play of the game to one of the GOATs in a tough environment. Showed to me they can truly kick it with the best of them this season on the road(not that I didn't believe they could)

Agreed. And we got this loss out of system early. Not worrying late in the year about a "perfect" season and playing starters when we should be resting them.
If we were going to lose this was the time and place to do it. Does not hurt us in NFC playoff seeding/standings. And that is all that matters.

I just hope the offense can get their shite together they didn't play particularly well last week either

What happened to the rule that states no contact after 5 yards. Was it changed?

When we started the Dolphins, Bears, Patriots run, I said I would be happy if we made it out of that 2-1. The last second touchdown victory hurts, but I have a feeling that was something we were going to get in this game anyway.
I am proud of what we have been able to accomplish and don't view the Saints any differently.

If you had offered me this start for the saints in the preseason I would have taken it without even asking who the loss would be to.
It sucked that we lost, but it beats getting blown out. Team needs to improve more, but the fact that they were in it until the end tells me that they could possibly be Super.

That is debatable. Their hurry up caused us major problems, our offense was in a funk the entire day. Only until we started running it well did our team look better than theirs. We were thankful their receivers dropped so many passes that is for sure.
