Reducing the student section would help in many ways. Cut it by half, which would increase revenue. Eliminate Greek automatic tickets. Tickets go in a priority to upperclassmen, graduate schools, i.e., law, vet, etc.

This may increase revenue, fill the stadium (dwi - students are leaving early) and reduce the number of moronic 18-20 year olds.

One of the worst type of human beings you will meet are freshmen college students. Know it alls who know very little about the real world, making adult decisions for the first time in their lives. I know, I was one.

frankly I'd rather my kid here some sophomoric chant from the student section a couple of times a game vs. the typical drunken bitching after every play from a moronic 35-45 year old usually found within about a 7 person radius from your seat...

Worst types of human beings? What did you do after college....move back in with your parents & never leave the house?

Oh, and I can only imagine that you engaged in tons of self-examination as a freshman & kept your nose clean. Else, you did stupid shite and it was okay with you then, but it's not okay when others do it now.

Uh, most of the empty sections are the designated grad school sections.

You want the stadium to be quiet? I don't know if you've noticed, but the loudest section of the stadium by far is the student section. If you don't want to hear anything, stay home. I'd pay big bucks to be able to go back and sit in the student section every game. I've sat elsewhere for years, and it just sucks compared to being in the SS. The student section is the heart and soul of Tiger Stadium. I haven't been there in 6 years, but from 2002-2007 we stood up the entire game. The only seats were up under the scoreboard, and they were packed

I was at a game, I think in 2004-05 where the whole stadium emptied except the student section because of a near monsoon. It was like that for an hour or so, can't remember specifically. Nobody left

Do you really think graduate students like going to games? News flash....they don't.

Increase revenue my fricking arse. The money is already there, no need for more money at the expense of losing student section tickets. Shove it up your arse
