I think any team they play in the NCG will have a great shot to shut them down. OSU's D-line this year is better than LSU's, and OSU rotates 10 guys on it, so the depth is there. Can't compare with Bama's D-line because it is a 3-4, but I would take OSU's D-line 10 times out of 10 against LSU's.

And just so that we're clear, I'm not trolling at all. Your team actually blows.

You should seriously refrain from talking about the dominant d-line of tOSU when they gave up 30 points to Northwestern and 34 points to a Cal team who (a) blows monkey dick, and (b) Oregon beat 56-14.

So, just to reiterate, STFU about your garbage team.

Good day then.

ok it was 340. They outgained LSU by a decent margin, and that was the best LSU team in years, and the weakest Oregon team in the last 4 years.
things that wouldn't be said had it not been for the LSU game

So is LSU's D-line responsible for the 44 points given up to UGA? OSU has the 7th best rushing defense in the country, and shut down possibly the best running game in the BCS in Wisky.

Oh, and the Cal/Oregon game was played in a tropical storm where the "air raid" can't realistically work well.

don't think you're in position to talk about other teams being garbage.

Oh, and I would take Meyer over Les with 5 weeks to prepare

Not trying to bash OSU actually. I don't think they are garbage and all the other B.S. you see on here, LOL. I just think by the time that game would be played LSU would be at least on par with OSU defensively and better offensively. I do think we have more athletic players that have a better chance at not being "Out Athleted" by Oregon, especially by the time that game would be played. If the game were this Sat, I would actually say OSU has a better shot then us. But, it isn't. All that said, I think you guys have a better shot of playing in the title game then anyone, due to schedule. Mich St, is really the only team I think that has a chance against you guys. Mich. maybe because of the emotional factor.

Apparently you aren't very smart - odds on Oregon to win a National Championship are around +225. That would mean that if you bet $1,000 you would win $2,250. Pretty big fail on your part

I didn't look at the money line on the bet, brah. I was just saying I wouldn't bet a straight up $1,000 because that is stupid. Thanks for getting the actual betting lines.

Buckeye - I liked tOSU in the trenches. The oline plays with great leverage. I just think that the trenches at Oregon are better. Our dline is killing it right now and the oline is playing with a nasty streak that we've never had. I like Hyde and Miller but would never trade them for Mariota and DAT.

This thread seems familiar. I especially like the part where OSU and Oregon fans are talking about being great in the treches. Surely, this year will be different. Transitive logic clearly indicates this.

I'm pretty sure my ability to differentiate between teams that are good and teams that blow is completely independent of whether my alma mater is good at football.

UGA (at full strength) is really good offensively. The same cannot be said for Cal or Northwestern.

Try to follow along.

Your post still makes no sense even if you weren't looking at it. Someone willing to bet that amount would get more than double. You were saying like a fourth is fair.

Eh...looks like the same Oregon team you see every year that will lose once they have to play a team with a physical defense.

Cal didn't score 30+ points against Oregon...even though Oregon had in scrubs in the 2nd half.

They didn't even do it against Wazzu.

And they didn't come close against UCLA either.

But Cal scored 30+ points against Northwestern and Ohio State.

In fact, Cal scored only 3 points less against Ohio State then they did against Portland State.

I think my grammar was poor. I meant that I'd put up $250 for $1000. I was going with 4x. I am surprised that it's gone down to just a little over double.

Shows what the perception of Oregon is at this point in the season. I think they are a better team than Alabama at this point.
