There we go with the word from practices spiel again. Did you hear what Cam said about Jennings? That he was innately accurate. You do know what innately means right? But you'd rather believe the "word from practices" over our QB guru who is training the QBs.

How is it that an inaccurate true freshman QB came in and took the backup position in such a short time? What does that say for the other QBs you want the best man competition for? And by chance who do you think that "best man" will be? Sounds like you would prefer it not be Jennings.

I hope he stays through FOURNETTE's career.

Sry, recorded St.aug/Curtis game and watched last night. With him, hopefully a young QB won't have to play lights out his first year.

I think Miles has Rivers as the next QB.

Just a few thoughts....

If Cam is as good at developing QBs as everyone says and the evidence supports, then LSU will have no trouble locking up top rated QB commitments.

Cam purchased a home, rented another, razed the first, and building a new one on the old lot. Unless he's a real estate developer, it looks like he's sticking around a while.

And pure speculation....

Will Miles and Cam try and duplicate Bama's multiple National Championships thru the newly coming playoff system...or...is Cam Miles' succession plan for his eventual exit?

Either way, Cam has nothing to prove as a professional and can choose to spend his time doing what he enjoys most which would appear creating 18-22 year old winners.

Rivers, Jennings, Don't forget about Hayden Rettig. He chose LSU over staying out there in Cali...imagine if he went to USC. Funny how their QBs are always talked about and most LSU fans don't even know about this kid on our team that could very well be their starter next year.

I have no clue what is going to happen next year under center. I am just happy that we have a group of valid candidates (I know most people don't think so) to pick from and not just one Freshman to take the reigns.

And yes, I will be heartbroken when Jarvis and OBJ leave after this year. OBJ has started since he was freshman and had the same amount of TDs against Miss St as he had all season last year. Why would either stay? I Don't even want to think about our Passing offense next year and you shouldn't either. Just enjoy what we have now...while it lasts.

Have you forgot about Jeremy Hill being a Sophomore? Blue may come back if he has a Medical Year for last seasons injury, and Hilliard will try to milk it after seeing Ford and Ware lost with the talent in the NFL. Yes, Fournette would have playing time...IF he committed to LSU...but I don't think he will like the "committee" approach.

I just don't see it. It is why we never have a Top 5 RB commit typically. We'll see I guess.......

Hill will be going pro after this year. He is a true soph but he is 3 years out of HS which makes him eligible. Les didn't recruit any RB's last year for a reason and that was to get Fournette. I think Miles promises Foutnette that he will be the featured back. That is the only way that kid comes here. He is too good to get lost in a RB rotation.
