I just called Chief, he said missed the game b/c he took the wifey to Golden Corral for the buffet. He asked if I DVR'ed it, unfortunately I had to tell him no.

What part did he need to see? The part where they took a dominant lead into the 4th and had to escape an onsides?

the part where they got rid of Scott Shanle

He's in my bathroom taking a dump. I'll ask him when he comes out.

I'm sure he's probably breaking down film of the team he coaches.

He and Coach Stud are barbecuing right now, they will have to get back to you. But no, they did not see the part where the Saints refused to play prevent and remained aggressive. Rob Ryan >>>>> Chavis.

Right, because John Chavis is a horrible coach and needs to watch football games of other teams in the hopes of learning how to coach. It's amazing how reactionary and simple-minded Ranters are. "Chavis is great! Best coach ever!" turns into "Chavis sucks" in less than a month.

Yeah...and still had an 8-point lead.
One word - pressure.

He better be watching film of Florida's offense so he can gameplan for our next game.

These literally are among the stupidest types of threads on the Rant. Why would you want to know if he watched the Saints game today? What are you getting at? What comparison are you trying to make? Expand on why you asked that question.

It helps when the blitz gets to the QB and you can cover on the backend.

You don't always win with the blitz. But if you're not getting any pressure at all with your regular pass rushers, you need to throw in some so the QB isn't playing pitch and catch.
Chavis has done a great job at LSU so hopefully they'll throw a few wrinkles in there to help us out.

You people are imbeciles, hypocrites, or, most likely, a lot of both. If Chavis had Ryan's defensive talent and vice-versa, each would do pretty much what the other is doing now. You field the athletes you have and you scheme your defenses to optimize that talent, not the talent the idiots on TD think you will have if only you tell them what to do.
