Wilson is getting sacked or hit just about every time he drops back, and it's not one guy. Just now 3 of the Texans DL dominated their matchup and converged on Wilson

Seattle also has as sorry a group of wideouts as there is in the NFL.

i don't think wilson is having a bad year, and this is just a bad game for the hawks' offense in general
there's just a shock value when mobile QBs show up, and then defenses get to adjust, so the QBs have to adjust (typically in teh 3rd year, or they bust out)

But I thought mobility was his strength?

No time at all due to the line; and Seattle struggles on the road. I picked Houston to win this, and I have a feeling I'm in the minority.

kapp is feeling it a lot worse than wilson, b/c he relies on running a lot more
Kaepernick also has lost his number one receiver from last year and his tight end as well. Hell their only healthy proven pass catching option on the team is Boldin and this is his first year with them.

They need Percy Harvin.

well the texans D, when firing on all cylinders, is no joke. they're improving as teh year goes on, same with the running game
add in OL issues and that's a nightmare matchup

Wilson has always been overrated. He was the third best quarterback in his rookie class

people in the media were acting like he is the third best in the entire NFL.
He got the third most love next to RG3 and CK
quote:
He had the top defense in the NFL and either the best or second best running game to support him. He was only throwing like 20-25 passes a game last year and he was very average away from Qwest.
agree

Wilson's passer rating at home: 123.6
Wilson's passer rating away: 83.1.
Seattle's record at home: 8-0.
Seattle's away record: 3-5.
Also, your stat is misleading.
They played 5 of those last 8 games at home. Only 4 of those games did they pass for over 200 yards, only 2 over 210, and only one over 216.
In those last 8 games, only 5 of those teams were in the top half of the league in passing defense. Three of them were only there because their rushing defenses were so bad that no one really needed to throw much on them (Jets, Cardinals, and Bills).
The Seahawks relied heavily on their running game in those last 8 games too (1,662 passing yards to 1,524 rushing yard). Hell there was only one game in that stretch that they didn't get at least 153 yards on the ground (they had 96 in a game at the Dolphins and they lost that one). They had 1,428 rushing yards in the other 7 games. Pretty much every quarterback is going to play well when his team can give him 204 yards per game on the ground while have 5 of those 7 games at home (and your defense gives up less than 14 ppg in that stretch as well).
So yeah, Wilson is overrated, as I said he was (and is).

If you watched the Seahawks last season (which I'm guessing you didn't), you would see that they were extremely conservative with him the first part of the year. It wasn't until the Detroit game in week 8 where they actually opened up the offense. His worst passer rating in his last 7 road games was against the Redskins in the playoffs with a 92.9.

Wilson is starting to scramble around and make some plays now

OP might look real stupid pretty soon.
7 point game.
