I agree with the OP. I'm a La native that grew up in Ga. My first game, I drove 9 hrs to TS and sat in the rain to watch a Curley Hallman LSU team in a steady rain. I wasn't going anywhere. My cheap arse dad wouldn't get us cable till I was a jr or sr in high school. Yes, I missed a lot of televised ESPN games in the day, but my "fanhood" has a special strength from sitting at home with WWL on a sat night as a kid. Haven't gotten back to TS since '03 UGA. U can damn well I am prepared to lose a kidney this Saturday. I will get in to see my tigers. I can give a pass to elderly fans or those will small kids on the auburn game. But we need our student section to hang tough. Wear rubber boots. Ziploc your phones and spend the $5 on a poncho.
