Hannagriff broke this down the other night on Tigerzone.
Said about 1/3 are die hard football fans. 1/3 are there for the tailgating. 1/3 are there for something to do.

The price excuse is old and lame and cheap tickets outside the stadium are proof of that. I know people every week from all financial backgrounds that have tickets given to them and they leave early or don't go at all.

The blue collar , die hard fan is more myth than reality.

Making the stadium bigger not only adds to the ticket glut, but it also makes a horrible traffic situation even worse.

People who fantasize about closing in the north endzone are retarded.

All fine and good if you live nearby. But to drive 6 hours, find parking and "hope" to find 3 or 4 tickets together? If you are telling me this is a given, I will start doing it.I'm serious, not a flame

I'm a die hard fan, but I was with more "casual" fans last night and so they wanted to leave when we got up 35-14.

I would've stayed until the end if it were up to me.
