LB & Safety play is gonna cost us a few games this year. LB with the exception of kwon seem to only make plays after a ten yard gain

+1

we allowed 437 yards ..that's not a good D against a team like Auburn

The defense looked good every drive they went away from the inside run. Everytime they ran that play, it setup other plays.

LOL Y'all are so negative.
After physically dominating and putting up 21-0 on Auburn it seemed like the team just wanted it to be over with it, just like the fans.

The D shut them out 1st half and stopped them when it mattered. BE APPRECIATIVE

Auburn gets a A+ for effort, but they should he thanking Miles for being the merciful man he is and not embarrassing them.

Coaching staff gets a C- for being merciful too early and upsetting the balance that is tiger rant.

All those yards Auburn got we're garbage yards on a team in cruise control after already proving DOMINANCE.

Be Calm we still stacked SEC still fricked

our defense is obviously not what it once was. Doesn't mean we can't get there but right now our D-line is at best average and safety position has work to do and CB's need to get better on the long passes.

They stayed out on the field too long based on our offense going 3 and out and re-verting back to the high school offense of 2012. I don't think they would have given up that much if they weren't out of gas by the end of the 3rd.

I couldn't agree more. I felt like I was watching a replay of the Clemson game from last season. The offense couldn't stay on the field long enough to give the defense a chance to catch their breath. At the end of the game our defense was gassed. If Auburn would've had another 5 or 6 more minutes to work with, things could've gotten very interesting, and not in a good way.

you should really read the game charts before you throw shite out like this. By the end of the 3rd quarter LSU had 1 3-and-out, and that was in the 2nd quarter after going up 21-0. During the 3rd quarter the offense had 3 drives resulting in 2 TD's (1 on first play of Q4) and the fake field goal try insider the red zone. LSU had 184 total yards in the 3rd quarter...

many games would probably look different if they were 4.5 quarters long...

your point was the defense was out of gas by the end of the 3rd because of all the 3 and outs produced by Les' high school offense...

I don't disagree with your assessment of the first part of the game, but the game lasts 4 quarters, you can't "want it to be over with", you have to end it yourself.

I just dont understand where this statement comes from. Are you predicting LSU to lose at least three games? If you are you are just wrong. At this point in the season from what I have seen LSU has the best shot to win the sec and the NC.

his point was about the 3rd...however, what hurt the first drive in the 4th was the PI on Beckham. Then the drop by Boone. LSU had the ball for 2.5 minutes on that drive after Auburn punted after only a 4 play drive. Prior to that you had a 3 minute LSU drive and the end of the quarter. Defense had no reason to be gassed at that point.

LSU didn't start sitting on the ball until 6 minutes to go in the game. At that point it was 35-21, which is how the game ended.

6'5" Mike Evans at aTm scares me at the moment. If safety help doesn't improve by then I know he will kill us come Nov 23rd.

Two Ints and multiple sacks with a forced fumble. We shut Auburn out in the first half then took the foot off the gas in the second half out of mercy. Miles could've run up the score if he wanted too. Georgia hasn't faced a defense this good all season. Couple that with Murray's propensity to throw a sloppy ball and INTs sets up for a very nice win next week in Athens.
What game were you watching? Our d got torched. Their oline pushed our dline off the ball and gashed us up the middle all night.I was about to pull my hair out because of it. I dont get how you can think that our d looked good

I agree with you, Burt. I think our defense looked good as well. They learn quickly, and they are very opportunistic.

When the game is in doubt, the D has played well. They tend to relax with a lead, and they don't have any studs who can give 3/4 effort and still make a play, like we did the last couple of years. Will be interesting to see how they handle having to play hard for a whole game. Any problems that haven't been fixed four games in won't get fixed until the offseason, so what you see is what you get at this point.
