The question was, who is the MOST underrated signee we have. I like your optimism but you didn't really answer the question.

Trai Turner

Just found out that he is leaving early for the NFL. This is an absolute joke. Does anyone know his reason for leaving so early? The early departures are killing LSU. What makes LSU so different from other schools and why don't teams like Bama and Auburn get so many early departures like LSU does? If you are projected to go in the first 2 rounds then by all means...leave. But to lose guys to the 6th round of the NFL draft is very disheartening. Just makes you wonder about the advice they are gettin.

Trey Lealaimatafao

Please will someone explain to me how this guy got overlooked by the recruiting services. I just watched his senior highlights and IMO... he is the gym of the class. Big, strong, and has a mean streak that rivals the best defensive players in the NFL. I just don't get how the recruiting services didn't at least have him at 4 stars. Hell, he looked like a 5 star for me. Maybe there is something that I'm missing. What do you guys think about him? Watch his senior highlights.
From what I've seen on the highlights, how could anyone not pick Trey Lealaimatafao? But then I remembered most posters don't know shite about football and usually pick skill position players. IMO ...all the recruiting services dropped the ball in evaluating Lealaimatafao. Please will someone tell me why is he ranked so low. Dude looks like a five star to me.

Didn't expect for anyone to think that. He'd be the last one I would pick. I doubt he ever sees the field at LSU.

We'll finish no worse than three. I say we move to number 2 with a 5 star, high 4 star, and two-three 3 stars.

When it's all said and done, I think we finish in the top 5 definitely but 2 or 3 is highly unlikely...IMO. Unless we can get one of the Louisiana boys to flip which I'm still hoping we can at least get one of them to turn. I don't really have any inside info, but I'm still not wanting to believe we are actually gonna lose that much instate talent..so call it a hunch or whatever but that's just how I feel.

I think Bama will finish as the for sure number 1 with Auburn sliding up to number 2 on nsd.

Weren't you also advocating LSU hire Orgeron?

I really think that some of you will find a way to justify every move LSU makes. Why wouldn't LSU want to hire possibly the best recruiter in the nation? That still baffles me. Most schools would love to have him on their staff for his recruiting alone not to mention he's a great dline coach yet you guys still claim that it would be a dumb hire just because LSU didn't go after him

Honestly, I don't see him playing next year much if he commits to the Tigers for three reasons.

Probably not what a 5-star wants to hear.

I'm embarrassed for you. :rotflmao:
Wish we threw to tight ends more often. Maybe having Jacory will change that.

Concur - that was my point. We can talk 20 skill players and some LBs but where is the beef?
We should be bringing in at least 3 linemen on both sides of the ball every season.

Smartest post I've read on this board in forever

Come play running back at LSU and make it to the NFL. Doesn't even matter how much depth we have at the position"

Michael Ford
Spencer Ware
Stevan Ridley
Keiland Williams
Jacob Hester
Richard Murphy
Jeremy Hill*

And all of those guys still don't start.
Too bad it takes more than just running backs to win a football game because if that's all it took then we would be in business.

BCS title game is always ultimate but I prefer to be in the hunt every season. Aub. Was last place last season. That would have been tough to get through. Then again.....

Stupid question.Trade. We weren't in the hunt either year

this might be funny if saban leaves for texas

Please give this idea up. It's just plain dumb. Why would he go to Texas when he gets exactly what he wants in Tuscaloosa? Texas would never give him the freedom to do as he pleases like Bama does.

Either LSU is really really dropping the ball or these guys are being coached what to say.

If those are my two choices then I'd say that LSU is really dropping the ball.

Has anyone read his interview with canesports.com? It's on Rivals but I couldn't read since I'm not a member there. The only part I read was that he wanted to see the vibe down in Miami. Not really worried about it. I'm just curious what it was all about. He's probably just having a lil fun with the recruiting process. I would hope we are solid with him especially considering CLM's committment he has shown towards him following his injury.
