They stayed out on the field too long based on our offense going 3 and out and re-verting back to the high school offense of 2012. I don't think they would have given up that much if they weren't out of gas by the end of the 3rd.

Now here's someone that truly doesn't know what he's talking about!!!

How many sacks?

Our defense looked pretty mediocre.

If we out score them (the purpose of the game)what does their score matter?

wo Ints and multiple sacks with a forced fumble. We shut Auburn out in the first half then took the foot off the gas in the second half out of mercy. Miles could've run up the score if he wanted too. Georgia hasn't faced a defense this good all season. Couple that with Murray's propensity to throw a sloppy ball and INTs sets up for a very nice win next week in Athens.

Defense did look good on some drives but porous in other drives. Giving up 330yds in offense in the 2nd half is somewhat concerning, along with the fact that Tre Mason had a 132yds for a 5yd avg per carry should have people concerned. Auburn ran up the middle with ease both in the 1st & 2nd half.

The defense is going to have to play a lot better if we are going to come out of Athens with a win, they are going to have to figure out a way to stop the run period end of story. If they don't do that, then our offense is going to have to score 45pts to win.

I have to disagree, Voo. The defense needs depth on the interior. All we had last night was the two starters and Lacouture, who looks to be a great prospect but is not ready for the SEC wars. QT must be hurt or something. We need him badly because Mickey Johnson will never be a capable backup, I'm afraid. Anyone know QT's status? Still no word on AJ's injury, I guess?

It looked good in all aspects but one.

That is stopping the run up the middle. They were consistently getting 4-5 yds a pop. And when you are consistently giving up 4-5 yds a pop, that's a problem. We're going to have to get better in that aspect especially with Gurley running. Although, different offensive schemes between Auburn and Georgia, I think it'll be a little better. Linebackers need to blow up a hole to beat them. Murray will throw pics against our D as he's shown against other defenses. We need to stop the run to stop Georgia.

our D has major issues.

Anyone that can't see that should just wait for the carnage that Murray and Gurley are going to unleash on us in 6 days.

We may very well outscore them, but I'll be shocked if we hold them under 35.
Prepare to be shocked. You are so wrong about our defense, it's not even funny. You'll see.

Deal. We'll revisit this next week. One of us will be completely wrong. I'll gladly admit if it's me, but I don't think it will be.

It's college. Receivers will get open. Every time they threw towards Mills he was all over them, with an interception. White had a pick six, if not for the drop, when he stepped in front of one receiver. Also, their QB often had to tuck and scramble because he couldn't find a receiver.

Nah man we're on the same page I think.

I was saying ATL id wrong that the issues on D were because we got "gassed" due to conservative play calling on O.

The offense was fine in the second half until 6 minutes left.

The D issues are about our personnel and scheme, not just that they were on the field too long and got tired.

Depth is an issue for sure, but it goes deeper than that. I don't know exactly what it is but we are vulnerable even when are starters are in and healthy.

Hoping Chief gets shite done this week.

Not every time. He got burned on at least one deep ball. Sure, he was expecting safety help (which he didn't get), but he got burned nevertheless.

Well playing a team that is averaging 360 YPG through the air that also has probably the best RB in the nation, we are sure as hell gonna find out, aren't we?

. Right!.. Even when it seemed they had Au backs stopped at the line of scrimmage they still seemed to gain positive yardage for the most part... As a whole though, the defense did play fairly well, but I'd b concerned about the defensive line and the LBer's at this time...

The getting gashed up the middle on what seemed like the same play over and over was a little concerning. But then again when the team had a pulse in the first half they only gave up 104 total yards
