What voices ruin the music?

I was trying to be succinct in the title, but what I'm wondering is whether there are bands or artists whose music you like or might like more if it weren't for how much you dislike the voice of the lead singer?
Here are a few of mine:
Smashing Pumpkins - I might like them if Billy Corgan allowed someone else to sing the songs.
Silversun Pickups - I dislike the singer's voice so much it ruins excellent music.
Radiohead - Although, frankly, I don't really like this band's songs, I might like them better were it now for Thom Yorke.
Artists? For some reason, Jack White's vocals annoy the heck out of me, but I like him, anyway.
Bob Dylan's songs are almost always better performed by singers other than Dylan.
Now, just to poke fun at myself and show how ridiculous these types of dislikes can be, I actually remember a time when I did not like Led Zeppelin because of Robert Plant's voice. I've since changed by opinion on that 180%; so, it's possible that I can change on the above-referenced bands, too.

Stevie Nicks made the band legendary. I can't believe you posted that...

My #1 hatred is the unbearable Geddy Lee, but I'd hate Rush anyway
Same with other screechers like Boston, Journey, Starship (w/Mickey Thomas). I'd sooner listen to hyenas being tortured than these vocalists, but I'd probably dislike the music with someone else singing
There are some "singer"-songwriters that might qualify, notably Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits.
Can't think of a band off the top of my head though

William Shattner fricks up this Dylan song, although maybe the OP will prefer this version to Bob's:

Jennifer Nettles. Not a huge Sugarland fan, they do have a few songs that i enjoy. Inevitably, there will be a point in the song where i want to stab myself in the eyes with an ice pick.

Jason Boland. Love his music, not crazy about his voice.

Take notes people...the guy who posted Sugarland gets it.
The people posting Thom Yorke or Stevie Nicks don't get it and are beyond salvation.

William Shattner fricks up this Dylan song
The ending, as Shatner -- like Melville's Billy Budd -- strains to reach that which is beyond man's grasp, is one of the most transcendent moments in music history

When I was a kid the local radio station slowed down "Imaginary Lover" by the Atlanta Rhythm Section and it sounded just like Stevie Nicks

I would say if you've listened to enough Sugarland to even have an opinion, you're beyond salvation...

None of my favorite singers can sing. The only voices I truly hate are what I like to call "high school drama class voice". I hate a way too clean and over-enunciated sound. Grates on my nerves. Particularly when they try and hit operatic high notes.
