Many of the 2014 LSU commitments will be on hand to help lure other prospects to Baton Rouge. Arlington, Texas, standout defensive back and part-time LSU recruiter Ed Paris plans on making the trip. Paris has already built solid relationships with Dupre and Fournette, among many other prospects.

Mississippi safety prospect Devin Voorhies is expected to make the trip, as is Karr linebacker Donnie Alexander, Barbe wide receiver Trey Quinn, Westlake tight end Jacorey Washington, East Ascension running back Sione Palelei, University High offensive lineman Garrett Brumfield and Alexandria athlete D. J. Chark. We have yet to receive a response from Pearland, Texas, wide receiver commitment Tony Upchurch, but we were informed by a source that he may make the trip as well.

was close to committing to LSU only a few weeks ago, before his two close friends, Cameron Robinson and Cameron Sims, picked Alabama
What is this? He almost committed and now Sims is a close friend again?

I can assure you Simms and Jones are not childhood friends like some make them out to be. Intriguing news about him almost committing a few weeks ago though, that is for sure a positive and at the end, Jones will be a tiger.

Why is it that every post you make is a link to a nola.com article? Do you pay Chicken to advertise for them?

The TP and specifically James Smith has been killing it on recruiting lately. He is always a good read and seems to be in the know about the going-ons in that regard.

I have wanted to ask this before, but I would get blasted for it on any other board for it. So take it easy on me
What does REC stand for?

Voorhies has been killing it so far this season(no pun intended). And I get the feeling Jamal Peters will be the 2015 version of Clifton Garrett, could be all LSU after his visit.
