Anybody ever shoot Tannerite?

I bought a batch the other day from Academy and Me, Burge and RAWannabe are gonna blow some shite up.

I haven't, but a bunch of guys I know on a gun forum have, and they all say it is really fun. One of the guys has a bunch of land in Tennessee and they get together every spring for a forum meet and shoot. He sets up an area for 100, maybe 200 yards, and they set up some Tannerite targets and go at them with rifles.
I don't think it works with handgun rounds. Something about not enough FPS. Could be wrong, or maybe that was early on. I can't remember. I just remember them talking about it on the forum.

we've hit up beaver dams with that shite.Pretty impressive. Only thing better was a full 5 gallon propane tank.

Make sure your nearest neighbor is a few miles down the road or notified before shooting these. My buddy had the cop show up to his farm b/c his neighbors down the road didn't know what the frick was going on. He was blow up hay bales with these bad boys.
