Which brings up the point, we really haven't seen Cam's offense yet. I'm not saying he's running Miles' offense so no one start that shite. I'm saying he hasn't scratched the surface. Just wait until he starts incorporating the RBs and TEs into the passing game. LT was a 100 reception guy under Cam I believe. Gates was one of the premier TEs in the league. Once those positions get involved look out.
Had this exact conversation with the guys at work this morning. I don't think we have been pressed enough to reveal the depth of the playbook. Good coordinators (offense and defense) are constantly setting the traps whether it is in the current game being played or the long range of the schedule. I have to believe he has more plays if needed in the back half of the season.

With the exception of last season, It sure does seem like we've seen a couple of these threads after cruising thru the "rent a win" games at the beginning of every season for nearly a decade now. That has to be the reason why I am gun shy about buying into this year's "Holding Back" theory even though I can totally see it being true.
The thing that might make this season's "Holding Back" theory finally a reality is that my brain is screaming that it is true! The past year's disappointments were fueled more by blind faith that LSU had one of the best staffs in the nation and thus they had to be holding back the good stuff for the tougher competition.
It's like we got exactly what we were dreaming of in an OC.
