I'd be more worried about lack of monetization options than becoming the next MySpace. What it does best is act as a decentralized AP Newswire. But how do you even monetize that? Charge people for every 100,000 followers? Ads will have limited success since most people access this on their tiny mobile phone.

I think it could be good for a day trade on IPO day given what I I expect will be massive liquidity, but the valuation is sure to be inflated enough that I'd be hesitant holding much longer than intraday.

do you use twitter? They have sponsored tweets all the time. Not sure how their overall monetization plan is working for them, but they definitely get ads on the phone.
