Sorry for the poor image quality (iPhone). Took this while flying over today in a B-52 at 5,000'. Despite the image quality, you can see the progress of the South Endzone expansion.

So do I...so do I. Our civilian (ahem, political) leadership has made that unlikely if not impossible.

You need to take this every week as this is the best Construction Photo. You can see everything on this photo!!

I know...just wishtful thinking on my part...

I do have a technical question, though...just due to the nature of an airplane that large, it would seem to be difficult to get the flyover timed correctly since you can't adjust your approach like a smaller aircraft could...do you think that it would be difficult to pull off a flyover correctly in a B52?.....

Not difficult at all; that is if the Navigator onboard is worth a shite. We have a "time on target" that we are shooting for that is calculated by knowing when the band/singer will begin the National Anthem and how long their rendition is. If we are lucky, we also get a guy on the ground to update us if that band/singer is ahead or behind in their timing. Easy to adjust a few seconds here and there. All starts with being set up to be on time to the original mark. I've personally shacked several.

Nice pic, but what was a B-52 doing at 5000 over campus? That's a little far from Barksdale to be on approach
