Last time we lost in purple

2000 vs UAB was the last time that the tigers lost wearing purple jerseys.
i know that we are wearing white for the home opener but, i used to love seeing purple jerseys as a kid attending the games.
i know that i'm the minority but, it's just what i remember most about my first football experience.
anyway, can't wait to see them in purple next week.

I'm trying to remember the last time we won an important game wearing purple. Think we might have to go back to the 2000 Peach Bowl vs. GA Tech.

don't prefer the purple jerseys...I like our classic unis...clean, easily identifiable, strong, consistent..

Purple is the shite! I don't care if we sucked in the late 80's early 90's with the purple jersey's...the talent just wasn't very good... dress them boys in anything .... We're curb stomping everybody this year!!

I grew up on the purple jerseys.
But I also feel like some games we should be in the whites.
For example:
Alabama, Florida, Arkansas & Ole Miss --Always whites
Texas A&M, Auburn & Miss State--purple
Big non conf games--white
Shitty non conf games--purple

Purple unis are definitely my fav. Pretty lame to have one uni for both home and away, but oh well.
