Is it just me or could you really care less if there was a fly over

Also I don't care much for the fireworks when the team runs on to the field. To me if you need that type of peripheral crap to enjoy the game then you are better off going to a WWE event. Same for the piped in music.

Thanks for the tip. I'll make sure to not miss it.

i shite you not- if i miss the drumline warm up, i'm the most pissed off tiger fan out there.

it's awesome and your kid will love it even more. plus, this is where the "march" starts so, she can get pics with the cheerleaders/mike/golden girls. just follow the parade all the way down the hill.

Hate it with the exception of Callin' Baton Rouge

I sure missed the 75mm pack howitzer firing last year. I wonder why they discontinued it, I thought it was cool.

I remember the one from the 1986 TAMU game.

The guy was so damn low it looked liked the people in the upper deck should be able to see into the cockpit.

Look buddy, I am sorry if I offended you with my tone, and I hope your daughter has a great time at the game. I was raised going to games at tiger stadium starting around the same age as your daughter. My dad brought me to Mike's cage, we watched the band warm up, we also made sure we were along the street when the band came down the hill, waiting outside the stadium so I could get autographs from the players, and most importantly we always stayed till the end of the game. Hell I even remember sitting in the rain watching FSU kick our arse all the way till the end. All those things came together to form the foundation of my love for LSU Football. I just feel that the flyovers, the piped in music, the fireworks, etc have nothing to do with LSU Tradition and more to catering to short attention span, wow me crowd who leave at half time, and always want to fire our coach because he doesn't win everything, even though these are the best years in LSU history.

I am sorry for running on with that, my main point is that I feel fans should be there for LSU not for goofy unimportant stuff. In other words I'm there for the steak not the sizzle. I suppose all of you marketing/ sales people are going to call me a moron for that. I suppose I'm just boring, but I'm there to watch the game.

Thanks, that's awesome! She's been asking me since last year when I was going to take her to a game. Those are the kind of things that I think she'll remember forever.

make damn sure that you take her by the greek theatre to watch the drumline warm up before the "parade down hill"

If the band is coming down the hill at 530 (per the fan guide) what time does the drumline get started?
