I agree with the OP. Let's see those teams play at least a competent secondary. I'll give Clemson a pass on those comments, but only barely since Georgia lost more defensive players than we did to the draft.
Bridgewater dismantled a florida team that shut down Mett last season. Just sayin'...

I was impressed by the few scrambles that he made. He isn't a burner or anything but he pulled it down and didnt look awkward doing it. If we continue to spread it out he's going to have opportunities to pick up a first or two with his legs.

My jaw must have hit the ground on his first or second throw short to the guy who had just crossed from right to left across the middle! Talk about a tight spot and he stuck it in there!
The first thing that I came away with was that he was clutch CLUTCH C L U T C H when we needed him to be.
The second was that he would have looked a heck of a lot better in the stat books if TCU's little cbs weren't hitchin rides on our receiver's shoulders in the red zone and a couple of those dropped balls would have been pulled in.
Very good season opener!

You're on the money about Bridgewater. He is the real deal. Winston looks really good, but I'll wait till they run up against stiffer competition.

I'm watching the FSU game and I'm also watching the severely wide open receivers. Pitt has a horrible secondary. They will play UF this year. If he lights them up like that, then we have something to talk about.

Anyone who watched the game on television notice any bad throws? I was at the game and it seemed like every pass at least had the chance to be caught.
Not necessarily any bad throws, but I noticed he was late a few times. That long ball to Boone was an easy completion if he had thrown it earlier or led him.

I saw a couple forced throws, both times when he was moving. Outside of that, no problem at all with his throws, even the throwaways.
