Anyone had a gut feeling before the 09 season that we were in for a good one?
Anyone have that this year?
I have the same feeling I did before 09, that this could be a special year.

I had a ton of feels in 2009. Especially after the texans preseason game that year.
I have a ton of feels right now after playing the texans this season.
What does it mean? Other than the fact I love the saints of course.

I believe I recall a year where we went 0-5 in preseason and went 5-0 to start the year.

Re-newed emphasis on running game
I also have a feeling the Atlanta Falcons may find 2013 like the 2010 Vikings.
Coming off of 2009, the Vikings were just a turnover away from the Super Bowl (like Atlanta). They thought they were the best team in the NFL and got jilted (like Atlanta). Even future HOFer Brett Favre thought he should come out of retirement (like future HOFer Gonzales) to take one last run at the Lombardi. But if you know anything about the league, it's so hard to duplicate a great season, re-ignite the same chemistry, and stay injury-free. After lofty preseason predictions, the mighty Vikings went just 6-10.

I just remember in 09 Payton was saying he was planning on playing the starters most of the 3rd quarter in the 3rd preseason game...but Drew led the starters to TDs on the first 3 possessions and was yanked with a 21-0 lead. The rest of our starters got us to like 35-0 at half. Yeah, I had some special feelings then.

That's what did it for me too. I was like man if this isn't the year it'll never be the year. Just felt something brewing.
