With how Affleck will portray Batman than I am about how Snyder will handle the character?

Well, I guess that makes two of us.

More concerned with the script. Snyder produces a good looking product.

His visuals are outstanding but visuals are a very small part of what makes Batman great.

Man of Steel had a 76% RT audience rating (Superman Returns had a 63%) 3/4 people like "his" Superman...so Snyder should be fine. Additionally Goyer is still writing, I assume Affleck will write some as well(like Norton did in Hulk)..and then Affleck takes over for JLA.
The most positive thing about the older Batman is that now the "Bat-Family" can be introduced. Before all you alleged Batman fans go crazy, Dick Grayson/Robin is still a top 5 DC property.

one reason why I hope Marvel buys the X-Men properties back from Fox. A proper Deadpool movie would be great in the MCU.

Snyder and Goyer collaborating on the story screams complete failure to me

lol at the notion that affleck wouldn't have the acting chops to play Batman. If acting relatively somber is in your acting range then you're pretty much good to go.

This means nothing. More people liked Superman Returns. Ask Tactical.

Of course it means nothing, look at the argument.
3/4 of people? How many people. Viewer rating is just a defense people use to defend a poor film.

As long as they have the guts to make an R-rated Deadpool film.

just like critic rating is just a defense people use to slam a film they didn't like.

How many people
about 300,000 people. Pretty decent sample size.
Bottom line- The audience preferred Man of Steel to Superman Returns.

No kidding, but there will never be a mainstream Marvel movie that gets an R rating. Maybe if it's out of the continuity of the MCU (but kind of taking place in it too-like the Deadpool comic). Deadpool is at his best when he is interacting with other characters who think he is insane.

completely agree
when they announced Afleck, everyone was like "but what about Legder?!"
Snyder is no Nolan. I trust Nolan to get the best out of an actor, not Snyder.

whether I liked it more or not is irrelevant. I am saying the audience preferred Man of Steel, by every measure.
If people liked SR more, MoS wouldn't have existed. They're not rebooting MoS, in fact they are using to build a series of tentpole films. So despite some people not understanding that Superman can exist outside the shadow of Richard Donner and John Byrne's limited series in 1986 (ironically titled Man of Steel), Superman kills and he is more Kal-El than Clark Kent.
