Doesn't Thanh Truc Bistro in Kenner?
Not as often as they used to. They had a baker who left for another job, and they don't get a lot of business so they didn't hire a new baker. The place is only the husband in the back cooking, the mom taking orders, making drinks, serving all tables, and a three year old always on a computer in the first booth.
They still get the Kolaches every once in awhile, but they don't do them daily like before.

Peterson's Donuts in Houma has them. Several varieties.

Since we're wandering away from OP's NOLA, surely BR's Kolache Kitchen deserves a hat-tip. Breakfast kolaches and tacos.

Decent kolaches, but can't hold a candle to Meche's

Just went and got one this am, not as good as the Texas ones.

Yeah I didn't like the ones at district very much. Just a sausage and a pretzel roll really.
