I'd rather have a stranger yell "Geaux Tigers" at me in public than if I was a Shama fan and have
a Toothless GumpNeck shriek 'Rowwwww Taaaaaaahd'
in public.
When I hear that crap my skin crawls and microscopic vestiges of a Taco Bell Grande I ate in 1986 start crawling up my esophagus.

This has happened to me a few times. People not wearing LSU stuff wait until they are just about to walk by me say "Geaux Tigers" and I have half a second to say something before they go by, so I awkwardly say "thanks" or "You're welcome" like an idiot. Then I'm too embarassed to say Geaux Tigers back.

Happens all the time. I'm curious if they're assholes or If they just forgot what shirt they're wearing.

Going with assholes.

I'm not a loud person so I would prob just give a thumbs up or just a smile. I don't think I'm a bandwagon fan.

I like the serious sob's that look at you eye to eye and say go tigers like their fricking life is depending on it.

ESP if they are old.

That's something that LSU fans do playing on the road or in Atlanta for the SEC Championship. I would probably appear to be a bandwagon fan to you, even though I'm nowhere near being one.

Yeah, I'd say so. What she probably means is you shouldn't do that if it's not a game weekend.

Without fail, every conference I go to in the south, there is always the open speaker who goes "Now, we have people from all over the country here, etc."

It's always the first douchebag in the room all the way in the back "Geaaauuuxxxxx Tiigggahhhs".

It's pretty hilarious when it'a a national conference and nobody knows who the frick they talking about.

I should probably say it's either Geaux Tigers or Roll Tide. It's pretty much a coin flip who yells first. But they always follow each other. Like McDonalds and Burger King.

I live in Missouri now and if I see someone with LSU stuff on I'll give em a "Geaux Tigers!" If they respond back I'll ask where they're from.

The people I run into are usually on vacation and we'll visit briefly. If they just respond with a "yeah" then I just go on.

If someone sees me in LSU stuff and says "Geaux Tigers" then I'll Geaux Tiger em back.

I do it in the Seattle area to people in LSU gear on the street. I get more antisocial responses than one would think.

It's because they are too stoned to reply properly.

Had it happen to me around Hattiesburg. I was wearing some LSU gear headed to Best Buy and was in my own little world--definitely not expecting a "Geaux Tigers" in the parking lot. My wife, a Mississippi native, actually caught it. I felt like an a-hole for not acknowledging the guy.
