Some crazy stuff started to happen in that breaker, but JMDP battled through it.

JB, the last decade was a lot of fun. I even got one of these a few years back. JB was a class act and really should have made the semi at the US Open when he lost the fifth set tiebreaker to Agassi in 2005. He only had one gear and I sort of respect him for that.
He had two or three racquet deals the last few years, but nobody could ever give him a model he felt comfortable with, and he kept going back to the last three blacked out sticks he had left from around 2000.

Bummer. Good guy. He'll take it in stride, though. He seems like he's extremely level-headed. He knows where his game is right now, and I'm sure he knew this was a possibility.
