1/9/2012 no doubt

Was watching the game at Happy's
Was pretty drunk from drinking since I left work at 2:30 that day
Took cab home alone after third quarter
Zipper got stuck on jeans and ripped them in half trying to get them off when I got home

not really a meltdown (since the game was over early), but the Miami game in '88 (my first game in TS) was pretty lousy...both on the field and off.

This years CWS was pretty rough on me as well as the bama game. I walked back to the fraternity house, packed a bowl, and chilled all night. if I wouldn't have smoked it could have gotten bad

Been watching lsu since the being back the magic game in 95. Worst was UT 2010. I didn't even know we won because I ran out to the backyard during a party to be all pissed off. No one else at the party even watches football so they didn't know what the hell my deal was. When some kid came out to tell me we had won ..... I didn't even believe him. Lol

Here is mine.

Alabama 2009. The blown call on PP7's interception even when video evidence showed he drug his feet and grass and dirt came up. I completely lost my shite. Started throwing things everywhere. Luckily about 20 of us were outside watching.

I threw my beer, opened another one and threw it, threw a chair, a table, hell I can't remember what else. At that point I knew the SEC officials were ALL IN for Bama. The helmet spear on JJ that was a no call that took him out of the game and then that.

Ole Miss game was bad, Tennessee game was bad. Was in the dome on 1-9 in a suite with some clients so I had to harness most of the frustration in that night.

I don't erupt into a murderous rage like some of the other posts in this thread, but I do have a favorite moment in a loss that stands out.

Arkansas 2008. I was staying with some friends in a log cabin in Telluride, Co. I was the only LSU fan of the group, so the cabin was empty that day. I sat in a huge log cabin alone and watched Jefferson deliver one of his signature crapshows. After it was over I went out to the downstairs porch, got into the hottub and drank burbon while I stared out at the snow storms swirling through the rocky mountains in the distance. It was beautiful

The ride home from Baton Rouge to Houston after the 2007 Arkansas game. I probably never felt so let down in my life after that shoot out of a game.

1/9 was too much of a slow burn for me to melt down over. I had gone though the 5 stages of grief before the game was over.

Arkansas 2007 was probably the worst, given the way it ended and that it appeared to cost us a NC appearance.

Tennessee 2010 and Ole Miss were bad but the stakes were nowhere near as high as Ark 2007

I'm sure this has been mentioned, but 2010 Tennessee certainly comes to mind.

I thought the stadium was going to collapse. Drinks were flying and all you heard we're expletives and just utter shock and disgust. Then 10 minutes later, everyone is cheering.

Edit: 2005 Tennessee was also terrible. Besides the team meltdown, I was literally melting in that stadium.

We had a party for the national championship. I was sick of ignorant comments (lots of Texas fans there bc it was in the Houston area).

I watched the second half upstairs and didn't come back down. Fell asleep watching recaps...

Closest thing to a meltdown.

Describe your worst LSU meltdown experiences

It could be a family member, a friend, at a bar, or even yourself. What was the worst meltdown over LSU football that you have ever witnessed? (Has to be IRL, tigerdroppings doesn't count)

I remember after the Auburn game in 1998, my Dad went into a rage about how bad the defense was. I was basically making the "a win is a win" argument, telling him we were still undefeated and everything would be fine. He was right on the money.

1994 Auburn...pretty much everyone associated with LSU went absolutely batshit crazy, and for good reason.

2009 Ole Miss...ditto Auburn '94.

05-06 season.. Was watching LSU v. Georgia at the hooters in the river walk area of San Antonio..
Got kicked out of a hooters! My buddies tell me that a waitress came over and said something like "Sir, can you please keep it down - this is a family establishment".. I apparently screamed a reply of "A FAMILY ESTABLISHMENT?!?!? THIS IS A GLORIFIED WHOREHOUSE"
not proud of that but I do laugh about it now.

Ole miss 2009 was a damned disgrace and the only time I have yelled at a TV screen. Tennessee 2010 was frustrating but its hard to get mad about a win, but if I had to choose one it would be that Troy comeback game in 2008...i left early and didnt care if we came back it should have been a guaranteed win...i hate it when people say the greatest comeback in tiger history because in my eyes it was negated by the fact that it was Troy...

I have a gump neighbor that kept a small white cement elephant in his front yard. After last year's lost to the gumps, I stole the elephant, sent ransom notes and eventually returned a few days later.

The Tennessee game we won thanks to 13 men on the field. I broke an end table smashing it on the ground.

After beating #1 the week before, I flipped my lid leaving the stadium after the Ole Miss game. This was simply a sign of things to come in the 98 and 99 seasons.. when meltdowns were quite common.
