I really don't see the big deal. Is thanksgiving that huge to some of y'all? I skipped the last 3 or 4 years to study for my finals in law school. I'd skip to go to a game I wanted to see.

You're getting super defensive here bro. I just don't see it as that big of a deal and its certainly not the SEC "trying to screw LSU"

Did you read that tweet? We have only played on thanksgiving twice...ever

Quit thinking about just your situation and understand why the vast majority of LSU fans dont want to play on fricking thanksgiving day.

I'm not defensive. You're just asking questions you already know the answer to.

I went to Kyle Field for the game last year, so I have that under my belt. I'll still be doing the same thing I always do on Thanksgiving: eating a lot, drinking a lot and crusing to a bar that night. Only difference is I'll be watching LSU while I'm doing it.

So you are 1 year out of school. My point is still the same. One day you will be married, have children, have in-laws, and grandparents that want to see their grandchildren. Thanksgiving is just one of those times that family will have to come first.

It's not our fault your family thinks you suck and don't care if you're around for holidays.
Normal families do care about this sort of thing.

Fwiw I don't care when they play it there, I hate Friday games.... Hope the return trip is on Saturday night.

I'm way late to this but my family wouldn't give a shite if I skipped Thanksgiving for studies, but a football game is different.
