That offensive line last year made the worst defense in NFL history look like the GOAT. (Saints)

God damn that line was bad.

Perhaps that is because almost the entire line was injured and not playing

That said, the skins could very easily be in a world of hurt week 1. If you think Chip Kelly wont have a great game plan and run up the score, you are selling him short.

The birds were decimated with injuries last year including most, if not all of their O-line. Not to mention they had a coach who had gotten complacent and didn't give a frick anymore.

How do you feel about the Mounties this year?

the Eagles have arguably the best pure wide receiver in the league with Russell Shepard.

Good lord Carson. Have you ever seen McCoy play, or did you just look at fantasy stats last season?

Right. I stand by my comment that McCoy is second only to AP. Lynch and Rice are on the same level as Shady.

I'm surprised so many people argued that with you. McCoy is one of the elite talents in the L. Guy is a beast. He's most definitely in that top 5 range

He's a good player, but fringe top 5.

He's only had one great season. He makes some sexy runs, but he also does a lot of stupid stuff.

Peterson, Martin, Foster (if he's healthy) are probably the top 3 backs in the league.

Then it's just a hodge podge of Spiller, McCoy, Charles, Lynch, maybe Morris, maybe CJ2k if he gets his head out of his arse.

Not sure.

In McCoy's best season he posted 1,624 total yards and 20 TDs.

In Martin's rookie year he posted 1,926 total yards and 12 TDs.

Based on what, exactly?

a top 3 RB behind only Peterson and Lynch
Meh, I think he's damn good. I can't disagree here.

a great deep threat at WR
And besides that, what else do the Philly Eagles have? Without Jeremy Maclin on the field, their wide receiving corp is just terrible. Riley Cooper, Damarus Johnson, and Russell Sheppard better be ready to make a couple plays. That is probably one of the weakest positions of depth, for one team, in the NFL (when it comes to talent).

Is there any reason this Eagles offense won't flourish?
Yes.

Oh, and I can't forget to add that Mike Vick has been a turnover machine.

McCoy has never gotten the volume of touches that Martin had though. I don't know if that's on McCoy and his size/durability as much as it is on different coaching philosophies

Don't forget Jason Avant. He has been a solid slot receiver for years as has Brent Celek at the TE position. The Eagles have big plans for Zach Ertz, a rookie from Stanford. Likewise with James Casey.

I can't argue with this point, but I am going to attribute a lot of that blame to Andy Reid's (and Marty's) pathetic play calling. You don't drop a QB back to throw 50-60 times a game with a top tier RB.

It can be attributed to Andy Reid being a stubborn SOB.

A claim? His backup might have a claim. With Foster, it's not even debatable.

Eagles D look like hot shite going up against Chad Henne and the fearless Jags

In conclusion, after watching the first 10 minutes of the Jags game, I foresee a dumpster fire of a season for this team.
