As influential Rakim
You take 7 M.C's put em in a line,
Add 7 more brothas who think they can rhyme,
Well it'll take 7 more before I go for mine,
Now that's 21 M.C's ate up at the same time.
Gotta be one of the classic verses in hip hop history.

If something had tragically happened to Nas after Illmatic and It was Written, he would be talked about more IMO.
if nas had a better ear for beat i think he would be the goat.
if nas was getting jays beats, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Scarface has two albums that are arguably classics in The Diary & The Fix with The Fix receiving the rare 5 mics from The Source magazine. With his solo work & work as a member of The Geto Boys he very so deserves to be in this conservation. What hurts him is that the majority of his success was during the late 80's through the 90's & because of this he tends to get overlooked in this conversation. For a really long time though, he was highly regarded by his fellow peers & others in the industry
Exactly, he was reppin the south long before it was cool to do so. He is your favorite rappers' favorite rapper.

I would post links to some favorite Face songs but I had to bring my laptop to Geeks today. I'm having problems trying to pull it off on my phone.

Aaaaaahhhhh.......
I wouldn't put Wayne up with Biggie and Pac and that's the order if he died in 2007 he would've just released "Like Farher Like Son" and Drought 3 I believe
Big
Then Pac
You're talking young artists you gotta say Nas who was 21 when he released Illmatic, 23 for It Was Written (and the song that was arguably his most popular song with If I Ruled the World) then I Am and Nastradamus at 26, he also would've been in Belly and In Too Deep which are both great roles by him, not as strong as Pac's acting career but a couple good roles...if he died at 27 (2000) he would've been considered a legend and one of the greatest of all time

NY State of Mind came on my shuffle while running yesterday. Hip hop doesn't get much better than that.

What if Tupac and Biggie were still alive?
Would they be irrelevant like Rakim? Would they still be putting out music?

I think they would both be relevant. Probably up to the level Jay Z is right now, or just under him.
Pac probably would've moved to the movie industry once the "snap era" occurred. Don't know what else Biggie could've done
He definitely would've had to adapt to the new sound.
