He doesn't have quick-twitch reflexes (although he is a decently fast baserunner), so he isn't the most deft thirdbaseman out there, but at 6' 5'' his range is great and his arm is really, really strong with an effortless motion.

ETA: Could be a Troy Glaus type of 3B/1B guy if the Cubs get a 3B who is an exceptional fielder.

That comparison has been made before, and i love hearing it every time.

I still think he ends up as a corner outfielder, but i'm hoping chances are at least 50/50 he sticks at 3rd

Speaking of 3rd, no more than a year ago the cubs had absolutely no depth at 3rd (vitters was really the only guy) now it's arguably one of our strongest and deepest positions in the minors.
