Our RB's--w/ Highlight videos.

After looking at all of the highlights and viewing eachs stats it's pretty obvious to note a couple of things:
1. 2011 offense and 2012 offense was a lot different. Just look at the total passing yardage. Obviously that was due to the difference in QB play. How does this affect the running game you may ask? Because defenses become less committed to the run, they put an extra guy (sometimes 2) into coverage rather than walking strong safties up and stacking the box. Therefore a balanced attack feeds off one another. With that being said...
2. The RB's in 2012 had huge holes to run through because of the success of our passing game and with the respect of opponents defenses to ZM ability to throw the rock. Unfortunately to Blues injury and Hilliard having off the field issues, we only got a glimpse of them in 2012. Hill, a talented back, comes in and shines. Ford and ware's ypc increased drastically. A lot of this increased success from all the backs can go to ZM.
3. I watched Kenny's highlights, Blue's highlights, and Hills highlights. Bottom line is all of them are very talented backs. But do not let 2011 slip your mind how Kenny and Blue (along with Tryann and our Defense) carried us through that season. Especially the SEC championship game. They did this with horrible QB play. I am tired of people on here blasting Blue and Kenny and laying on Hill's nuts. You watch the videos above and count how many tackles Hill broke in comparison to Blue and especially Hilliard. Hill is an awesome back, but so is Blue and #27. Dont forget about Magee. You may have your favorite or least favorite, but at the end of the day they all wear purple and gold and are legit. No one cares about your ranking, your depth chart, nor your favorite. Film and numbers dont lie. Time is a great revealer of truth. After watching all three videos it's quiet obvious that Blue speed and vision kills, Kenny is a train to tackle and just runs through people, and Hill with his power and speed makes him tough to tackle, and Magee is a horse in the stable patiently waiting to be let lose.

Hill's emergence to come in and close out big games with a big td run is no different than what blue did in 2011. They all will play and, if healthy, they will all help us win a ton of games.

They're all good, that's true. But Hill is a level above the others. If you don't see that, you don't know football.
We're very lucky to have all these great backs. I haven't seen enough of Magee, but all of the other three will be solid pros with Hill being close to best in the league status.

People bitched about our passing stats. Yeah our qbs were mediocre but we werent even throwing it 200 times in a season. Last time we attempted a lot of passes was 08. because we trailed in just about every fricking game.
This is why I have never been sold on Miles calling plays. The offense changed as the Ocs changed and the qbs changed. With JJ we tried to run the read option essentially trying to eliminate turn overs from the qb position. But with that no one respecting our passing game, cus well we just never threw it really.
We will still be a power run team, but if we can get consistency from Mett it will make a world of diff. We dont need to sling it around, and i dont think we will. the over all philosophy will be the same. Play to our strengths and shorten the game.

I still think blue is the better over all player. Catching, blocking and his ability to lay the wood on special teams will prob see him have a better nfl career than any of them. Not saying he his a better rb, but they didnt put blue in before all the other rbs for no reason.

Lol. His stats aren't better than Hilliard nor Blue. And his highlights aren't as impressive. He doesn't shed tackles like the other two. You can't juke everyone in the league. You better have a truck stick. If you can show me one play Hill runs someone over or carries people, you may persuade me. Look at the gaping holes he has on his highlight film. Still nice runs though.
Hill had Lael in high school and Kenny still was more effective and beat them out in the playoffs. I watched Hill play a few times and once he got hit hard he ran scary. Btw, he has yet to get hit hard in college.

we have damn good rb's but the thing that sticks out to me the most is that our OL opens some damn hole and the rb's did their damage to the 2nd and 3rd level defender. a mediocre back could have looked good in most of those plays. add our excellent guys and they can demoralize a defense.

All our backs are good. Hill is easily the best though. Blue is overrated by this board.

TJ Yeldon is 100x better than Blue and Yeldons success has nothing to do with the Oline that was blocking for him

Blue is a workhorse. He's going to impress you.

I think blue, Hilliard, and Magee are all under appreciated by this board and Hill is over praised. People on here are like bandwagon fans. Whoever is doing good they love and blow up. Whoever is in a slump or has an off game was never good in their blind eyes.

YOU MY BOY BLUE! BLUE IS A TRUE LEADER ON AND OFF THE FIELD. Great role model for yound rbs to look up too.

Watching Blue's highlights, his acceleration is incredible. As soon as he sees the hole he's through it at top speed. And he's bigger and faster than he's ever been.
