The train robbery was too unrealistic and cheesy for me. It was like something you'd see in walker Texas ranger or some 80s/90s action show.
5 car train stops and the methlamine is perfectly positioned where the crew is set up, dark zone so nothing can be tracked, brakeman and engineer get out to help man start his car, then they are pumping methlamine out and water in at the same time. the train heist was over the top. It was worse than the magnet episode.
The shock ending redeems the episode.
Just watched this episode and I agree with this. There are a lot of unrealistic and cheesy plots/sequences/lines in this show that keep it from being truly great. It is entertaining, though.

The moment Hank closed the garage door is probably the single best moment in TV history.
Eh, frick everybody else. For all of the TV series' I've watched, this is by far my second most memorable moment in TV series' history. Outside of every moment of The Wire.
Boom!

I've seen alot of shows and when Walt turned around and confronted Hank I knew it was the moment I had been waiting years for. So for me it was definitely up there, considering there was so much character development up to that point. Lost, sopranos, boardwalk empire, and sons of anarchy have provided similar moments. The difference is in those shows that those moments happen every other episode, and I feel like that Hank vs Walt moment has been building up for 5 or 6 years if that makes sense.

It was akin to Hulk Hogan and Macho Man in the cage.

Let's give it a few years.

My favorite episode is the one in season 3 where hank gets attacked by the cousins. Well, maybe best scene. Some incredible acting by dean Norris. That scene is one of the most tense I've ever watched on tv.

This is the only scene in the series that I've watched 3-4 times. That said, the season 4 finale still reigns as king IMO.

"One Minute" was a great episode beginning to end.
Dean Norris has had some great scenes. I also thought he was great in the episode "Hermanos" where he has a sit down with Gus in the beginning. After that meeting, Gus was raging inside.

If I wanted tv shows to be realistic, I'd film myself walking around and watch the playback.
