Method to appease you idiot neutral site supporters

The only thing worse than wasting a marquee non conference game on TCU in Dallas is the fact that we are playing Wisconsin at not one but two neutral sites. I have said many times how the neutral site thing is ruining college football and have heard all the supporters' arguement s and don't buy Amy of them. If you want to see a game in jerryworld or lambeau go to a saints game-college football should be played on a college campus.
The Wisconsin thing upsets me the most because going to Madison had always been in my top 5 college football road trips and now that we are wasting it on a neutral site BS I will likely never see LSU in Madison in my life time.
The only argument the neutral site supporters give is its gods for recruiting. Does that mean we waste our non conference marquee by giving it to another city? Anyone remember how fun VA Tech in 2007 was? Why not keep those games as a home and home and go to our neighboring cities to play their mediocre schools?
For example, if it so important for us to recruit Houston, go play Rice there on a road trip and Wisconsin in Death Valley. Wanna recruit Dallas, play SMU there. Wanna recruit Memphis, play Memphis there. Wanna recruit South Florida, play Florida Atlantic in Miami. Personally. I would go to all of these road trips.
So keep marquee non conference as home and homes (in my opinion better for college football) do a home and home with a mediocre for recruiting purposes in a nearby large city/market, then a practice game against a sunbelt team.
Why not do this? I have never been more mad at LSU than am about them robbing us of the Wisconsin home and home.

We need to play Penn State in Yankee Stadium or Met Life

Too long. Didn't read any of it.
Long story short, home/home make you lose a gate one year. Neutrals payout like home games.
The days of home/home is over

So it pisses you off because you don't get what you want? Sounds legit.

I think it might be easier for teams to setup neutral site games. I remember for years LSU struggled to get home and home series with OOC teams and failed. I remember one team begging to back out and another team forced a last minute cancellation. LSU was stuck in both situations with having to find a FCS to fill in and the media gave us hell for it.
It seems over the past few years schools like Oregon and Wisconsin are more amiable to playing. Maybe it is because schedules are planned so far in advance and neutral sites are easier to add to their schedule.
Who knows, maybe the Badgers will enjoy playing LSU so much that they eventually agree to a Home and Home exchange.
Oh and while I am on the topic, wasn't LSU the first SEC team, in recent years, to play in the neutral site games to start the season? I think so, because I remember Saban and Bama doing it the following year and thinking to myself that their copy cats.
So I am listening to 680 the fan up here in Atlanta and the talking heads start off with comments based on the rest of the SEC needs to take Bama's lead with neutral site games and stop complaining about OOC opponents and schedules.
thanks

Yeah, recruiting is just a little insignificant aspect of the sport. It's much more important that Tiger Stadium sells as much hot dogs and beer as it can.
If the Wisconsin series was not neutral/neutral...there is no Wisconsin series. They would never come to BR.
If they didn't move Oregon to Dallas, chances are the Ducks back out of that series.
People always complain about the SEC playing garbage schedules. It's hard to get good teams to come in to SEC stadiums.

As a long time season ticket holder that can't make many away games, this bothers me a bunch as well. At this point, it's beginning to look like any and all marquee type OOC games will be played at some neutral site. Season ticket holders will get Kent St in Tiger Stadium.

Mother f'ing this!
I cannot believe we are playing Wisconsin at 2 neutral sites, once of which is in freakin Wisconsin. It's being sold as a pseudo home and home, but clearly it's not even close to that. I would MUCH prefer to play a real home and home with Wisconsin. Why wouldn't we just do that?

Not many OOC teams want to come to Tiger Stadium. This isn't a simple issue of LSU preferring to play neutral site vs. home and home. Most of the time neutral site games are the only way to get a marquee opponent to agree to the game.

I'm a road warrior. I make maybe two games a year at home. I love the neutral games personally but I don't have season tickets.

Four schools in the country are in the black. FOUR!!! Would you rather we travel to games and in turn go into the red?

Season ticket scalpers vehemently agree with the OP, so I just cant get behind the line of thinking
