I have a 2 hp blender and have been experimenting by throwing raw zucchini, kale, spinach, mushrooms, carrots, peppers, and a dash of fruit to sweeten it......liquify it....and pound it out.
Anyone do something similar? If so, what's a good/healthy/tasty combination?

Do you plan on grinding up diamonds into a fine powder?

When I pound it out a blender is not involved.

I tried that one time, but the thing is, I don't mind the taste of vegetables and in fact like most of them. Cooked and on a plate is generally my preferred method of consuming them. All of them blended just tasted bad.

Kale, spinach, celery, ginger, cucumber....but no raw beets or carrots. They taste too earthy to drink, to me.

I do kale, celery, carrots, and then add banana, grapes, apple, etc. VEry healthy and filling in the morning. With no other changes in my diet besides doing that 4-5 times a week for breakfast I've lost 10 pounds.

This is it, and it's a beast
I had never thought to simply blend raw vegetables together in an attempt to consume more veggies daily. Are there any that I should avoid blending & consuming raw? What is the purpose of a juicer if you can simply use a blender?

Nice Vitamix.
I bought one a few months ago.
Nice investment.
To answer your question, yes I do.

We have a juicer for this. I use it a couple times a month. I haven't figured out a tasty combo that doesn't include some sweet fruit.

I would blend the veggies, add some tomato sauce or whole peeled tomatoes, blend.. Put in a pot on the stove and add can of corn, some unchopped veggies, maybe some canned beans or pasta.. some chicken or veal broth and make vegetable soup.

I've thought about making a fruit/veggie blend similar to naked's green machine.

I was on a stroke victims diet for a few days a few years ago, I wanted to kill myself given the texture in my mouth. Gelled coffee (one cup decaf)in the AM is horrendous to endure.
