We went and sat at the top. It is not great. Don't say you aren't going to watch the big screen because you have no choice. It is the best view for you and it is in your face. We are going back but I made sure I wasn't at the top this time. It was not enjoyable.

If so, did you happen to sit in the 400 section (the very top)? How bad is up there viewing wise? BTW....I don't believe on watching the huge tv they have if I am going to be there. Thanks!
I didn't mind sitting up top, you just end up watching the big screen because it is so freaking large

I sat on the last row in the corner of the Oregon endzone.
It wasn't bad. In the corners, there's a little platform kind of area behind the last row so we just stepped over our seats and stood back there.
The biggest problem was deciding which screen to look at.

For crying out loud, just go to the damn game! I went to the LSU/Oregon game and sat in 400 section. Unless you have the eyes of a 90 year old, you will see just fine, the atmosphere is just as awesome, and you don't feel like you're not a part of the game.
Too many people on here getting hung up on the playback screens, as though those are a dealbreaker.
They're great, but I watched the action on the field.

Sat in a suite close to mid field, and still couldn't help but watch it on the screen. Kind of annoying to me, to be honest.

Watched the game on the big screen. The facility and crowd made it worthwhile.

there is a TV stretching from the 20 to the 20----you will watch the game on the TV either consciously or unconsiously

unconsiously
Or subconsiously
Im sure some will try to watch it unconsiously.

I was there with about 70 thousand other LSU fans

...the result of quality pre-game drinking
unconsious--is the only explaination i could give to justify buying 2 Coors Lite for $18

There is not a bad seat in the stadium. Everyone view is excellent. Seriously.

We did the standing room only tickets and they were great. We got there early and leaned up against the railing. Food, beer, & restrooms were all close by. You will catch yourself watching the jumbo screen from time to time.

yes, was in 200level and still watched the big screen

we sat in the 400 section, about 5 rows from the top. I think it was a great time and worth it.
I did watch most of game on screens b/c players looked like ants, but the excitement was still there and worth it!
lots of fun. but, it was hot outside!

Not even close to the superdome, much less Death Valley.
Sure the concessions are nice, and they have ford cars parked inside the building.
But the acoustics an a/c suck balls.
Very corporate. Nothing like a real sat night.

Yes, I sat in that section for the Oregon and A&M game and will not ever sit there again unless its for a national championship game. Best bring your binoculars to see the field or be content to watch the big jumbo screen TV and have beer delivered to you all 3 QTRS.

False. There are seats with an incomplete view of the field.
Posted on 8/8/13 at 11:24 am to Herb484
standing room only and it was a blast. Felt like a home game away from home...

I sat there for Oregon. Not bad seats. Siting there for TCU
