well it's not like Miles has definitively said that Hill would play vs. TCU. It's likely, but if anything, Hill is doing the same thing that his suspended DE is doing, which is practicing.
It's funny bc if Miles has any intention of suspending Hill for any amount of games (he may have intended so all along), then it's Patterson that will get the credit for pressuring him into doing it.

that's definitely how it will be spun, despite the fact that miles said punishment would be forthcoming a day or two before patterson threw up from the mouth.

Les Miles accepted that he was going to have a 5 loss season right after a BCS trophy when he kicked Perriloux off. Are people forgetting Lee/Hatch?
RP got in trouble a bunch, like the honey badger
RP and TM7 were both given a bunch of chances and they kept fricking up. eventually they had to be kicked off. let's not act like Miles didn't bend over backwards with both to keep them on, including covering up indiscretions...or at the least, treating them differently than other players

do you think any other coach would've done anything differently?

come on man. HB7 didnt really get in any trouble. Let's not pretend he didnt do what 90% of all african american football players do as well. trying to lump him in with RP is wrong.

no
but i never criticized Urban Meyer for his bullshite suspensions, either
i mostly got mad at miles for kicking off that TE who got into a single bar fight

that's also not true. he had multiple infractions before that.
i assume you are talking about kyle anderson.

kyle anderson deserves different treatment than jeremy hill

I know right? How does he know we aren't going to beat them by 100 points....

Fair enough.

On the surface, it seems weird, but you don't know how these guys talk to the coaches or act in practice. If someone's a smart-arse, isn't coachable, and has marginal talent then logic dictates they have much less leeway than someone who doesn't do those things.
Not saying that's the case, but I'm saying you can't make judgment since we don't know the situation.

do you really think your team isn't using fricking marijuana on the reg?
Oh they are. But we we don't sweep failed tests under the rug and have the strictest drug policy in the SEC along with Kentucky.

Please.....it seems like LSU is the only fricking team that suspends players for pot.
Check your facts on this. Our starting safety is out for clemson because he admitted to cop to smoking. He didn't even fail a test. Seriously doubt he'd be suspended anywhere else.

Yea, definitely not a fact. I realized that as soon as I posted it.

I think the proof is showing Urban was sleazier than thought and many were right about him.
I can unequivocally say most coaches in the SEC wouldn't have pulled a Sumlin and have their players serve a suspension in the middle of the fricking season since the game was moved. it would've stayed the 1st game.

RP was clearly worse than the honey badger for the varsity incident alone. the badge was just going crazy with drugs and acting like he ran baton rouge and shite.

i'm talking about shite like when urban would selectively pick the shitty games to suspend guys for. i think that was in 06. like their suspensions were announced in advance..for the shite games

I can't believe yall think Richt is an angel and is the highest moral character in the SEC.
and to call him a starting safety is questionable at best. He's yet to start a game and may not end up a starter.
If your player is smoking and admitting it and your test isn't catching it one of two things is happening:
1. your tests are fricking garbage by design to catch only the stupidest offenders.
2. Richt tells the players waaaaay in advance when the test will be so that have time to flush it out.

Meh, everybody does this. The only thing I didn't like about him is one time in 05 he brought back a player who had been suspended before for just the LSU game and then after they lost he kicked the kid off the team again.

again, what is not being stressed enough is that Miles may have all intentions to suspend Hill, as he's alluded to further punishment being served for him.
In the meantime, all Hill is doing now is the same as Fields is doing...PRACTICING!
Will Patterson take back his comments if/when Miles does suspend Hill?
