So assuming it starts something like AP, Charles, Foster, Martin...you'd take Spiller? I'm considering him very heavily after this

quote:

Rookie OC Nathaniel Hackett said the Bills will feed C.J. Spiller the football "until he throws up."
"So he's either got to tap out or throw up on the field," said Hackett. "Let's just put it that way." Per the Buffalo News, a radio host asked Hackett "if Spiller would be the focal point of the offense." Hackett's responded by "laughing incredulously and wondered why anybody would think otherwise." The Bills' website has suggested Spiller could touch the ball 30 times a game. A run-first coach with designs on wearing down opponents, Doug Marrone has markered in Spiller for a monster workload. He's also locked in as a top-five fantasy pick.

Yeah I like Spiller a lot, I'm having a hard time deciding between him and Charles if I get stuck in that situation. I'd probably take Charles who's proven. Spiller is the hot name that every expects to break out.

I know, that's why I had been thinking Rice/Megatron. We'll see.

Where do you have Rice/Foster?

I have Foster at pick 2 like most.

Rag rice in Ppr, I'd say Peterson, foster, Martin, Charles, spiller, Rice.

Honestly, I feel like Trent Richardson will be a Beast this year.

I read a quote of Norv saying that they plan on giving him over 300 touches and 60 receptions. Last year he played with broken ribs half the year and was a fantasy stud.

This year in an interview, he guaranteed that he'll play all 16 games. He also said he dropped some weight and quickened up.

Where are y'all taking
1)sproles
2)Mcfadden (contract year)
3)MJD (contract year)

in PPR?

1)sproles - 3rd
2)Mcfadden (contract year) - nowhere
3)MJD (contract year) - mid-late 2nd. I think he will be a great RB2, better than the Ridley's and Sjax's

Someone will, it happens every year. "This will be the year!" But I like him for the first 6-8 games but that's about it.

I want Reece late. He was a beast when DMC was out last year.

quote:

He finished with 72 targets last year, third among all RBs, and that number could go up considering new QB Matt Flynn's limited arm strength. Factor in that Darren McFadden hasn't played 14 games or reached 225 carries in his career, and Reece might be worth your final fantasy roster spot as a flier. And in a point-per-reception league, he's all the more attractive.

If it's PPR, get Vereen. He'll be on the field a lot more this year like he was against Houston in the playoffs

Let me start by saying, I hate McFadden. Never draft him. Guaranteed injury every year.

BUT, this year I may be "that guy" if he falls to 4th or 5th. I have a feeling he's playing 14-17 games this year.

If by some miracle, he lasts, it could be a "league-winner" payout if he blows up as your rb3

I won't do it in more than 1 league. Only 1 of my 3 leagues if I do in fact roll that dice.

I had McFadden the last two years. What's frustrating about his injuries is that his 2-4 week injuries turn into 8-10 weeks. And every week you get teased bc they say there is a shot he could be back "this week", but he never plays. You wind up holding that roster spot for him, and he just ends up fricking you.

I'm not falling for the okie doke again.

The majority of people seem to over value running backs. I dominated a league last year with Calvin as my number one.

The worst part about his injuries is he plays on the west coast so the injury report isn't in before the 1pm EST games. You either have to make a decision or have a backup plan.

No shite

Calvin was the 2nd highest scoring position player in PPR. Better than every RB besides Peterson. He was 5 points behind.

And like is keep saying, he was tackled (8) times inside the 5 and (5) times at the 1. If he converts a few of those he is a 400 point scorer.

I don't think people can wrap their head around Johnson... He is the biggest athletic freak the game has ever seen. He is getting force fed the ball by a pretty good QB with a rocket arm. Dude had 204 targets.

Dez and AJ? They should focus on breaking 100 catches or 1500 yards first. Wes Welker and Brandon Marshall have at least accomplished both in a season.

Spot on legend. And to think, if he wouldn't get double teamed inside the 5 yd line to prevent the jump ball fade, he'd have 10 more TDS.

Is it a reach to take him 1 overall?

I wouldn't blink if someone did. He more consistent than most of the RBs. He had 11 100 yards games last year. Next closest was 7. So that's 10 points alone in 11 games plus the catches in PPR.

He and Marshall were 42 and 34 points better than the next WRs. That's a pretty nice advantage to have.

I think DMC is a "get greedy when others are fearful."

I'm rolling the dice this year. It's possibly I could land him in the 4th.

He's their offense. Great value/risk/reward in the 4th rd.

In the past, he was drafted in the first 3 rounds.

Don't forget about his 2011 monster year.

If he gets his yardage and TDs somewhere between his 11' and 12' numbers he's gonna to be the #1 RB or WR in ppr by far

And what I mean is if he has less yardage than last year and more TDs like he did in 11.
