If anything, I've gained respect for Miles. I'm over 1/9 already, and he said he was still going to punish Hill further. Let us build a statue of him as he continues to give us 9+ winning seasons every year.

That changed for me some with him not laying out some form of suspension yesterday.

i havent lost not one bit of respect for him....and why does he have to suspend the guy as soon as he gets back...whos to say he wont suspend him closer to the season when he finishes reevaluating the situation to dish out the proper punishment

If you want to bash somebody, try Steve Kragthorpe. While at Louisville, he gave Willie Williams a 15th chance. That's right. After 15 arrests, Kragthorpe and AD Tom Jurich decided to give the young man another shot.

Les Miles is no Steve Kragthorpe.
Joe Alleva is no Tom Jurich.

Its the nature of his job. He has to win games. You can take all the bad apples off the team and at the end of the season your team is 4-8 you are fired.

I think this thread is at least in the team photo for most downvoted.

But for a guy who is always painted as a family man with great moral character, I think he comes off as more worried about winning with his lack of action yesterday. Thoughts?

I would suggest you watch his press conference...

Did people not watch the press conference? He said there would be more punishment but it would be handled internally.

Only if he bows to idiotic pressure and suspends Hill for anything more than a pittance.

Not at all. Connor should post all his Boy Scout good deeds on here as well and exactly what lead up to the altercation. If Hill had been arrested for distributing drugs, causing severe bodily damage, DUI and injuring someone, armed robbery, etc you might have a point. Otherwise let's get on with life.

How do you know what punishment Miles is or isn't doing within the program?

And to answer your question, no. He's kicked really good players off of the team in the past.

What I did lose respect for(really never had any) is the Pay for Friends Fraternity Losers who try and instigate fights at a bar with Football players. Misery needs company

My first thought is that I would, but I haven't. Miles has the information he needs to make this call, but I don't think it has anything to do with winning. While Hill is a special talent, I promise the one position LSU can afford to lose a player is at Running Back. Someone is always waiting to step up.

Miles has kicked players off in the past that had way more effect on the wins/losses than Hill would.
