Is it safe to assume that an internal and comprehensive punishment means that Les is gonna run his arse ragged for the next 3 weeks and not suspend him for any games? If so I'm completely on board with that.

Exactly... Heck yea!!!! Let em' put the pads on and GO!!!! I agree with Miles's interview he has already served quite a bit of punishment. Do you really think he was not sick that he could have no interaction with his team mates and could not be a part of something he has trained and put such focus on.....

I say let him run for a hundred on TCU.

If it wasn't for the fact that Hill was a LSU football player, you wouldn't be defending his actions.

Magee for sure. I see him getting the Spencer Ware amount of carries.

For punching a guy in a bar fight?

For having relations with a freshman when he was a senior?

There are some judgmental pricks on this board.

Miles knew the team would more than likely vote him back on. This is a decision that a HEAD COACH should make and not a team vote. Plus he's not being suspending for any games so far. #wrongmessage

No, I just think that at this point, he's fourth in line to get carries.

Gonna go out on a limb, and say Miles already knew he was reinstating him before the team had a nail biting vote about it. Psst...Mainieri knew he was gonna let our third pitcher back too, before he "made the team decide."

LSU administration should let the coaches deal with punishment for the players. Administration should be worrying about replacing the TOONCES logo with something appealing and perhaps the architecture of the new expansion so that it looks cohesive with the rest of the stadium.

This

Or this.

Logo candidates the committee will be voting on for the 2015 season.

I wish people would understand the team voted on reinstatement, not on punishment. And yes, that was a foregone conclusion. And they may have had conditions of their own.

On that note, as much as fans of our foes like to make Miles out to be a complete idiot his "process" in these matters are masterful.

By refusing to state the punishment, much to the chagrin of media and trolls alike, he both gives himself wiggle room (I'd like to think to adjust to Hill's attitude as we move forward) and continues the precedent of not answering to anyone but his boss(es) and to some degree his players/staff. We know Miles uses the phrase "internal" quite a bit. Well, he means it. It's internal (because Hill is cleared in the legal arena) and he's sticking too it.

I use the analogy of a congressional representative. If your congressman votes for a bill that you don't like, he doesn't get recalled or impeached. Somebody, somewhere isn't going to like everything he does. Similar to Miles, if the powers that be don't like what he does in these cases and his track record is bad, his contract will not be extended.

Big difference. Cody Glenn was suspended for breaking team rules. That could be anything from skipping class or habitually late for practice. He was not arrested. Jeremy Hill has a record.

a single punch... meh to me if he didn't have legal trouble in high school it wouldn't be even half as bad
at least he didn't start a full fight like jefferson did
anyways tigerland is the source of so many problems... for regular students and football players alike
Perriloux
Jefferson
recently Hill
who's next....
